Y'know, in prior years I'd have argued against the boring thing because I feel like we were only ever boring in the past if you were rooting for the other team. I don't watch as much as I used to--busy raising the next gen of Devs fans--but this current team feels like it lacks an identity. The teams of the '90s and early '00s each had an identifiable core, an identity, and an excitement of their own. Those were markedly different teams but passionate, talented, etc. This team just feels..... I dunno, blah. I've attributed that to my relative distance from tracking the team, but maybe there's more to it. CR76, how about you or the other Devs vets? They weren't very nice to anyone really besides the Blackhawks.
