  1. LOL talk about sexist. Jesus fvcking Christ. You don't get it. Blaming ANY of these women is tantamount to supporting harassment. Its none of their faults they were subjected to this by a creeper. Your assumption about the ignore button and that they chose to keep getting info to help bury the guy is absolutely awful. Think about what the hell you're saying about women in this respect. This guy used his position as a supposed "well known voice" in the hockey world and blatantly used it to hit up women and then slowly tried to turn the conversations to get them to pose for photos for his own personal wank bank. Of course its different in person and in bars. How many guys do you know are too chickensh!t to ever walk up to a woman and talk to them like a normal human being? He used Twitter to act as a buffer so he didnt have to put himself out there. He's a chickensh!t troll and deserves everything that is happening to him right now.
  2. And Mooney back during the summer.
  3. Check your pms. And yeah, good luck to him. If he ends up there, I hope he plays well. I'm glad that they're not playing the Devils again this year unless its the Finals. Will cross that bridge if its necessary lol.
  4. Zidlicky was as bad as 2 Salvador's tonight. Just awful.
  5. Lucic got knocked out. It was awesome. https://vine.co/v/OJ0AAtpvYgV
  6. Have long championed Kessel on this forum and have made similar arguments for trying to acquire him. I think he'd be a perfect fit. A Cammalleri - Zajac - Kessel line would be dynamic and a helluva lot of fun to watch. JVR would probably be the "easier" get, but if we can get a guy like Kessel, we do it as long as we're not overpaying/getting fleeced. There is literally no player on this team I consider off the table if Kessel was offered to us with Schneider being the only one I consider close to off the table.
  7. Hmmm. At least we're not the Leafs?
  8. What exactly is it based on? He hasn't been in Philly in 5 years now and literally nothing has been even rumored that hes been a problem in LA. A guy at 24 is not necessarily the same guy at 29.
  9. How is he a discipline case? Because of things that happened when he was Philly? The Kings are deep down the middle and it makes sense to try and move him. The biggest detriment to him is his contract. The contract is massive (runs until 2020 with a 5.75 cap hit each year). That's what would be the biggest turn off to me in acquiring him.
  10. Nah, they tried to get Kevin Durant as Under Armour is based in MD/DC area and thats where he's from, but Nike outbid them. But yeah, they're definitely growing. They make a lot of NCAA jerseys now. Hell, I think they have the Notre Dame contract which is a big deal.
  11. Theres people on Twitter tweeting at HUGH WEBER to get Deboer fired.
  12. Look at these two idiots
  13. As its been pointed out, this fanbase is largely spoiled and expect a contender year in and year out. Considering the pedigree of our GM and some of our players, I don't think it's wholly unwarranted or even expecting too much in certain respects. However, I think there's a tendency to overreact when games like last night occur especially when there have been problems that have been building up over the last two season. Luckily, these games are rare and at some point you just got laugh it off and brush it off. It's a long season that will have ebb and flows, but ridiculous kneejerk reactions are commonplace for virtually every team that have had at least a little bit of success over a period of time after debacles like last night. Last night is over and its back to being positive that they can bounce back tomorrow night. It's when the really bad play of last night becomes commonplace that I will attempt to armchair QB the franchise. Brush it off, move on. Beat the Jets.
  14. The hand pass wasn't even reviewable. The only thing the refs were checking was to make sure the net didnt come off before it scored.

    Is Larsson Finished?

He's 21 damn years old. To even insinuate he's "done" is beyond premature. On that same note, he may be done here. For whatever reason he has not grasped whats required of him when he plays and sometimes doesn't seem to be using his head. It may be a case of him needing new voices and instruction. I think a better comparison than Hedman may be Alex Edler. Also Swedish, drafted in the 3rd in 2004 (age 18) and took 3 years of NHL duty before it really clicked for him Jack Johnson is another one and much more comparable to Larsson in terms of draft position, who started very slowly and also took to age 22 before it "clicked". He played on a few really bad teams in LA as well. Kris Letang is another one who was thrown in young and took a few years to "get it" but he also had the luxury of playing with guys like Malkin and Crosby too. The one difference between all of these guys is that by the 2nd or 3rd year they were playing regularly (60+ minimum). There are plenty of guys that have similar trajectories. 2-3 years of regular NHL game time for a young defenseman is not uncommon, which is something Larsson has not had here obviously. I personally think he needs to go to a team that needs him more than we do especially now that we have Severson and Merrill really starting to grow, a team that will play him every night and let him work out his growing pains, a team that is basically bad right now. He's far too young and obviously has a skill set that if he utilizes correctly could be very good, he just may be in the wrong place for that to happen. Its very possible he is a total bust and done, but its just way too early to say that definitively. anyway, time to go catch the PATH
  16. Bullsh!t. Hes been in the league 3 years and has done nothing. "A big part of the SCF run in 2012" what? He played in 5 games that entire playoff season. He was basically non-existant in the playoffs lol.
  17. No, it doesn't mean a damn thing in this discussion. The only thing it means is that Vlasic and Burns are completely different types of defenders and Team Canada took Vlasic because they needed him. They didn't need Burns when they already had guys like Doughty and Weber. Vlasic is a stay at home defender. Burns is not. I would argue that Burns is a better offensive d-man than Vlasic is a stay at home defender, but they have two different jobs on the ice.
  18. The Flyers also had Brayden Schenn already and that was a huge reason for them doing that deal in the first place. Not really a fair comparison.
