Devilsdude530
Right now, NBC is not showing the following two Devs games: 4/1 vs. Boston at 12:30 4/8 vs. The Isles at 1:00 On NBCSports.com, the game is not listed. NHL.com and the Devils website have it listed however, but the writing seems to be on the wall that these 2 games will not be on NBC. These are the Devils 2 Options: 1. Move the games to 3PM (On 4/1) and 3:30 PM (On 4/8) and give them back to FSNY 2. Keep them where they are and don't air them. I'm sure the Bruins and Isles will have something to say about it as well. Deke
The one against the Isles is the last reg season game in CAA, it better be on TV.
PeteyNice
NBC is awful. This means we will get Detroit/Columbus and Buffalo/Philly instead. Wow talk about barn burners. The NHL really has no clue. I guess the ratings must really be awful if they are cost cutting like this.
TravisZajac
Detroit-Columbus and Flyers-Sabers? ZZZ
HellOnICE
Devils/Isles or Devils/Bruins could be first round matchups with a week left to go in the season..

officerfarva
Who cares what NBC does, nobody is watching anyway. Just as long as the Devils can be found on a tv station anywhere then I'm happy.
HellOnICE
I'd rather FSN with Doc, than NBC with insert whoever.
PeteyNice
You won't though. Doc will be doing other NBC games. It will Steve and Chico if FSNY picks it up.
SatansDevils
Really who cares. I am sure Bettman would love to see the Devils not on NBC. Just another stab at the Devils here. Just tired of all the anti Devils in the NHL.
peteyvegas
Who cares? I'd rather not see them on channel 4 if those 3 clowns are going to do the game like on today's Ranger game. they put Doc on the Detroit game and they actually got a play by play. All NY got was Moe, Larry and Curly (Hull, Clement and the ex Islander with the bad front teeth).
sandman441
Not the first time they've been dropped. I know VS did it last year and I think HDNet did it last year too.
Devilsdude530
Versus never dropped them last year. They dropped the Isles. And HDNet has flexibility anyway.
njdevil26
I def don't want them to be dropped. I go to school in Reading, Pa and if they are not on NBC, I can't watch em at all.

I'm pretty sure they did it was either a Boston game or somebody else because I remember being mad that they did.
jkrdevil
The NBC schedule has always been unreliable before it was removed the last game against the Islanders the Devils were listed as San Jose.
Devilsdude530
Yea, but this schedule was sent out in an NBC press release.
Pepperkorn
This is so weird to me... The Devils aren't dull to me. I don't understand. There is something just really wrong if the whole league can sour grapes the Devils out even having games aired on network TV. Hockey IS hockey. No one team is really all that much moe horrible than any other if that's your take on things... The Wings win so they're more cool to have on... because the Devils dont? The Flyers are goons and have the brawling bullies the public longs for... yet the Devils are bad for TV because of that guys mean spirited hits and that meatheads cheap shot the other week.... There is just something really blatantly wrong. I dont understand it. But if I was just Joe Schmoe... honest? I'm sure I would never equate NJ with hockey no matter how many Cups were won. Sorry folks - I fear this IS, as far as I can tell, an anti-State-of-New-Jersey thing. NJ has no teams -- none without a New York moniker anyhow. The Devils are paying for having the audacity to actually wear the name of Jersey.
Devilsdude530
Ah, you just listed all the reasons I fell in love with this franchise PK.
njdevils2003champs
Thats ok though. Keep the times of the games the same and for the April 8th game, I guess they will show any possible recognition or anything having to do with the last regular season game at CAA. smelly
This might be a rediculous question, but what would being on FSNY instead of NBC have to do with the time of the game? That's the second time this thread that the game time has been mentioned, I don't get it...
