Cowutopia
From here on out I'll be keeping track of Clarkson's wraparound attempts. Let's see if he ever scores on one! Current Count 25 Goals Scored 1/2 1/2 goal scored on Tuesday, December 30th vs. St. Louis Blues. Other half scored by Brian Rolston. devilsfan26
Hahaha, I wonder how many he will try in the Young Stars game. Watching him makes it feel like I'm watching a video game where doing a wraparound is the money goal, except without the end result.
Chimaira_Devil_#9
I think he has already scored 2 on the wrap around. Its FORMIDABLE. You never see it coming.

Yea I can remember three times, there may be more than that. He must have tried at least 15 or so, though.
Cowutopia
15 per game? since I can't remember the exact details I'll start the counter fresh for after the break. Edited January 25, 2008 by Cowutopia

El Diablo
Meh .. I'd be more impressed if he scored..
nmigliore
He tied up the Buffalo game with a minute left on a wraparound, but that's the only one a remember.Anyway, since there's no way to be sure, I like the idea of starting the counter fresh after the All-Star Break. Devils Pride 26
Not a wrap around, but didnt he score on a breakaway against the Leafs at home?

pattyelias
Should we also do a Clarkson toe drag counter?
Cowutopia
Yes, yes we should. He scored on a good lookin' one in the Youngstars yesterday.

Cowutopia
I actually made it a point NOT to watch, but VS had a rebroadcast on late, and I ended up watching as nothing else was on.
Cowutopia
Clarkson went 0 for 0 on the wraparound tonight, which is surprising. One spot early in looked like he was going to try a wraparound but the attempt was broken up by Pitt's D before I could really count it, and another time later in the game he had the puck behind the net all alone with time, and decided to skate up to the half boards instead. I was VERY surprised. Clearly we lost this game because Clarkson did not try the wraparound.
Devils731
Clarkson did pull at least 1 toe drag though.
SatansDevils
He also had a hard shot from the top of the circle and Conklin m,ade the save. It was a nice shot by Clarkson. One of maybe three players out on the ice that played hard tonight.

DevilinLA
Cowutopia, hey man I'm not trying to instigate, so don't take this the wrong way, since I know that "Clarkson's Wraparound" is really your thing.... but...if its so "surprising" why is it that Henrik's stick went flat to the ice the minute he saw Clarkson head for behind the net? I think many of the NHL goalies have CI and a DVR...that's why. Don't get me wrong, I love him, and the trick, but I think he has the potential to have a bigger bag of offensive tricks and be less predictable. ...Or it could be that it worked so well in Dec....but has been pretty dry since. Anyways...keep the count going!
Devils Pride 26
Thats one thing I found interesting. Since its very predictable, I think we could surprise some teams sending him on a wrap around hoping the goalie goes down, and slings a pass across the crease for someone to bury it.
