Cowutopia Posted February 23, 2008 Share Posted February 23, 2008 Finally. Marty had a fantastic game in spite of the two that got past him. He kept us in it in the horrid second. The fourth line played very, very well, but obviously they're all still fourth liners. LOLDUYA still seems to be vulnerable to a big giveaway a game, but he made some solid defensive stops and overall I thought he played decently. Brookbank played very well today. The Devils continue to work hard, and though we had a bit of that "second period downer" come back (mostly because of CLARKSON'S dumb penalty) overall I am VERY PLEASED with this team. Jesus I really thought we'd be sitting third in the division come this time of year, and I couldn't be happier. My expectations for the team are growing by the week. If we make a pickup at the deadline I'll be hoping for a run in the playoffs that extends until we meet Ottawa, and then all bets are off.
