'7'
Church looks absolutely stupid in all of his AB's. And here's Castro hacking at the first pitch

'7'
Yep, the Mets couldn't finish him off in the 1st and now they pay for it. I'd be shocked if they score another run today.
overtime98
They are talking like tomorrow is the last game at shea.... its not if they'd make the playoffs.
nmigliore
This is gonna turn ugly soon.. I say Santana goes 6 gives up 2 runs.. Nolasco goes 7+ and doesn't yield another run
'7'
The umpire is also giving Nolasco the very far corners
nmigliore
Ramon F'n Martinez, where did this guy come from? 2-0. And 7 your right.. Church just went down watching an outside "corner" fastball
'7'
Ramon F'n Martinez, where did this guy come from? 2-0.And 7 your right.. Church just went down watching an outside "corner" fastball Chavez would work better AB's at this point and is a better glove with better speed (church has some sort of hip ailment now) anyway, that 3-3 day the other night was a fluke as he's back to complete inemptitude. Jerry had the guts to yank Castillo for Martinez. Time to pull church, he can't hit the baseball anymore.

nmigliore
OMG this ump is screwing the Mets.. theres no way u dont call that strike 3 after Church's called 3rd strike >I say Nolasco gets down the bunt, Ramirez base hit will tie the game. '7'
Please somebody drop a bucket of knives on this umpire seriously, the guy is deliberately screwing the Mets and should pay for it somehow. Fired immediately after the game, that's how 1 sided it's been Edited September 27, 2008 by '7'
nmigliore
Please somebody drop a bucket of knives on this umpire Its the work of the former BREWERS owner whose daughter now owns the team.. That man's name is Bud Selig.

'7'
Why do these type of defensive plays only get made against the Mets? can we have 1 ground ball trickle through?
Devils731
Man I want Hanley so badly.. fvck Jose, he would never make that play I didn't get to see the play but Hanley is an error machine, screws up more routine plays than can be imagined. nmigliore
I didn't get to see the play but Hanley is an error machine, screws up more routine plays than can be imagined. But yet he plays platinum glove plays against the Mets. Its crazy.. But ill sacrifice the errors for some pop.. although hes more of a #3 guy Santana NEEDS to gut out another innings, he thrown 88 pitches.. Or else we lose. nmigliore
Well here we go.. 9th inning.. 2-0 lead.. apparently Santana is gonna pitch the 9th, good move.. Either way its not gonna be easy

overtime98
Does anyone doubt Santana's the best pitcher in baseball? That was just magical. JOHAN SANTANA is just awesome and our best player! Can we pitch him tomorrow? LMAO! If we had 3 more santana's we'd be set....
nmigliore
This sucks.. Brewers rallying.. Cubs look like they are blowing it on purpose.. 4-3 Cubs, bases loaded, 1 out.. If Brewers win this.... UH OH we are screwed. Edited September 27, 2008 by nmigliore

Zimmerman was up with bases loaded with 1 out and grounded into a game ending DP, only b/c Rollins made a good diving stop..
