Charlie Coyle maybe? a big RW...seems to be a good hitter and a good skater.... also know SJ have lots of goalie prospects? maybe another attempt of getting a prospect goalie... we got 2 last years at the draft... maybe lou is looking for a miracle goalie to come up and take brodeur's place?

Єklund (2.3% accurate)

San Jose going hard after a D-man right now.

mmmm its Ek i know but wtv... Greene?

My real guess would be that if its not just Greene going, he will be involved in the trade. It just seems that he would be the most likely wanted.

I dont think it would be a D coming out way. What about McGinn? Young guy, not having the best season right now. Potential.

Setoguchi would be an awesome addition to.

davis has been completely passed over in albany. swift was a decent player down there, not sure why he gets moved.

still, albany needs a vet d, and if they're going to move greene and one of salmela, corrente, or fraser, having a guy like leach who can adequately fill in at the nhl level makes sense.

He did say "minor". Of course people interpret that to mean "maybe we'll get Setoguchi!"

Hell be lucky if he gets 1-3 games (Leach). It wont effect the Devils really at all....there for useless. Davis had potential. He was a young player and had time to work. He showed skill when he had the chance up with the Devils. Leach is just another old timer. We dont need any more of those anywhere involved with the franchise. Lou has been trying to get rid of the elders not bring them in.

Yet again a former Devil comes back.

I wonder if the Devils are calling up a defenseman for at least a game while Volch is out, rather than play Fraser. Maybe 2 games from Urbom? Lemaire said he wanted to teach him some stuff.

Davis is 24. Not that he's garbage but I don't think he is an NHL player.

The franchise extends further than New Jersey. Albany has been a train wreck this year and they need help, especially on defense. Davis does not have an NHL future in this organization. He has been passed by younger players every year and has never stepped up with the big AHL season to earn a real chance in the NHL. He had plenty of opportunities, he just doesn't have the skill.

This is an AHL deal, none of the players will have a big NHL impact if any at all. A veteran d-man like Leach can help Albany.
