njdss4
Clicky So instead of trying to take a neutral standpoint on the NHL playoffs, Yahoo! Sports has announced its Ranger loving attitude by featuring an article that bashes the Devils from its first to last sentence. If it wasn't bad enough that Yahoo! Sports can't seem to get a boxscore right anymore, now they show their true colors as classless a$$holes. I was already using NHL.com for pretty much all the hockey info I needed, as RealTime and Game Summary were working great, but now I won't even grace Yahoo! Sports for a single shred of sports info. I'd rather go without it than support dicksh!ts like them.

Every newspaper around is going to have "homer" papers. Edited April 21, 2008 by Rangerfans
DEVILS>Rangers
the first thing i see is the picture and that already pissed me off "And if not for the absolute lack of offensive skill by John Madden, Chris Drury's goal wouldn't have been able to stand up as the series-clincher on Friday" yeah cause madden cant score for sh!t, FVCK U RANGERS haha, this is a profesionl article, wtf http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-oI93ue7Dk why would someone put this, Edited April 21, 2008 by DEVILS>Rangers

I thought that name was familiar. Isn't he the one who wrote the 101 worst ideas in sports or something? Either way the article is complete garbage. NJDevsFireOnIce
There was an article in the Asubry Park Press aboot the Devils and the Rangers and it was complete garbage. This guy always writes the Devils articles and its clear he is a Rangers fan. Hes a big C sucker.
Exit56
Reading comprehension is really a skill.. Greg didn't write the article, a rangers blogger did. It says so plainly in the lead-in to the article.
maxpower
The "article" is a cut and paste of someone else's blog posting. Everything other than the first paragraph is written by a Rangers fan. Bad choice, most people aren't going to look at it long enough to notice that.

Satans Hockey
I went to that homer rangers fans blog and reading this was enough for me to never bother going back there... *I love how tough John Madden, Colin White and Paul Martin are behind their visors. Clarkson and Rupp may be despicable hockey players, but at least they play dirty face-to-face. Provoking behind plexiglas is spineless." Pepperkorn
Yeah what a Devils hating DYCK! ehheeeem By Greg Wyshynski SOMEbody's got some explaining to do Did you lose a bet? So if the Devils had won would he just post something on his blog no one really reads? Man you gave him an ad AND a huge voice... hmmph... I'd expect this of Cromag --- but YOU? njdss4
My gripe with this isn't really about what was said, but the fact it got featured on Yahoo! Sports. Let's keep these kind of biased, bashing blogs where they belong: obscurity.

NJD Jester
Anyone who thinks Greg wrote the entire article fails at reading. There is a reason the first part is in quotes...and yeah he probably lost a bet No, not a bet. It's part of a reoccuring bit we're doing on Yahoo (my new hockey home, BTW). Here's the Senators one, written by a Leafs fan: http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/nhl_exper...s?urn=nhl,77660 I'm sorry the fact that it was written by a Rangers blogger was so vague. I mean, it's only the first thing in the entire article. Future editions will feature the words "it's a goof" sprinkled throughout every paragraph, and a mechanical hand that reaches out from home PCs to slap anyone who thinks otherwise. Because, you know, *I* hate the Devils. Jesus, newbies ... <JESTER>

Giving these team bashers a featured article on Yahoo! just fuels these dicksh!ts into bashing harder and getting more and more cruel. Where's the integrity? Not on Yahoo!, I've learned. SatansDevils
Greg is a Devils fan and he is suppose to be having a book out on the Devils and its fans a few years ago. Still waiting on the book but he is a Devils fan. Greg must have lost a bet to a NYR fan or friend of his.

If this one didn't work for you, I'm sure something else will. Thanks for reading, <JESTER> I understood from the start. You're obviously not understanding my point. It doesn't matter which team is being bashed, you're giving the bashers a voice they don't deserve. Featuring articles that were written with the intent to offend and do nothing but rub salt in the wound does nothing for Yahoo!'s credibility or integrity. No, I don't think you understood from the start. Because you read a blog post written by a Rangers fan and expected "a neutral standpoint," which is pretty fvcking stupid. At any point during your outrage, did you say to yourself, "Say, I wonder if they have someone lined up to write the Rangers eulogy when they're eliminated? I wonder if, perhaps, it'll be a Devils blogger?" Because that's the plan... <JESTER>

What is "fvcking stupid", as you so eloquently stated, is that I would need to go to a site like Yahoo! for biased sh!t like that. I USED to go to Yahoo! for "a neutral standpoint", but now I can clearly see I won't get that so there is no further use for going there.
