I don't think this deserves its own thread and I don't know if some one already talked about it so ill post here. Speaking of gifts I got a Devils calendar for Xmas. Am I the only one who doesn't like some of the pictures in it? It's almost like they try to get the players when their faces are all weird.

Not to take away from a goal that rele helped us but was it just more or for most of the night was Rolston skating very nonchalantly? It may seem like it to me but unless the Devils are trying to set him up on the PP or for a slap shot in general he doesn't seem to put in a lot of effort.Then again im not on the ice so I can't see what he sees.

Doesn't this happen to Carolina every year then they pick it up in the second half of the season to make the playoffs and some how manage to beat us and make it to at least the second round?

I remember watching this game. I think john madden scored and the puck hit the very front of his skate as he was skating to the net. They waved the goal off then like less then 5 min later chris draper scored....was BS.

I feel silly that I pre-ordered. It will be funny since the people that go to pick up the game on the release date in certain stores will be counted on 1 hand =p But who else cant wait?

If it was a 3 way deal wouldn't it be NJ, SJ, and OTT? So NY wouldn't be involved?

I did, after redoing the 5min tutorial every time you want to do it its pretty fun, not much different then 09 but the board play and the game refinements alone make it worth the money. I like how they added the ability to get more rebounds, make it harder to run over people with huge hits and they fixed the AI so now dump and chase is more of a viable stratagy. No more amazing between the legs passing like in 09 either, much harder to get it to go tape to tape. The O will actually pass back to the D now if they cant see a lane to break the puck out, but all this said the AI is still does some dumb things like when they do that 360 spin thing all the time to bring the puck into the offensive zone.

I'd pass either way, my friend is a fan of Buffalo and all he did was complain about Maxim and how useless he was. Not only did he go down hill the guy took a nose dive, he was playing so bad he got benched every other game by Ruff. I would rather just call up some one from Lowell then take sloppy seconds.

I'm afraid with him going to the oilers it just opens up more choices for other players to go to New York. Some names that scare me are Hossa, Havlat, and Gaborik.

A tad off topic but I was curious if anyone knew if the Devils were in any rumors for Cammalleri?
