We've gone the route of hiring an AHL coach (Hynes), who I must admit I was happy about at the time, we've hired from within before as well, and to my knowledge there aren't many great veteran head coaches available at the moment. So...I just don't see any other options at teh moment. When Laviolette became available last year I wanted us to grab him, but when we didn't and we hired Ruff instead I was OK with that, and I still am. How about how much better your boy has looked this year under him? And all the other young players. He’s a perfect coach for developing these kids. Which is obviously exactly what we need.
