Omg Awesome Picture Of Nieuwy In Star Ledger

Anyone know if the pic is on the internet anywhere? It's an AP photo. It is simply the most gorgeous Nieuwendyk photo I've ever seen. It's a picture low to the ice from the right side of Kiprusoff, his skates are perpendicular to his body, and you can see the puck (it's a blur behind Kiprusoff) on it's way to the net. One of the coolest Devils photos I've ever seen.

Edit: Here it is, anyone know where I can find a bigger copy? The one in the paper is wider, you can see the puck.

I think the photo is a great action shot...i saw the instant replay on Sports Center it was a great goal. Newy came up huge last night scoring with 12 secs to send it to OT and then winning the game with 24 seconds remaing.

Way to go JOE!!!

GO DEVILS!!

Niewy's prooving his worth; but I still think if we bump anyone come the deadline, he's gone. The fate is in Niewy's hands... Unless Lou has no intention of paying him 5million when Langenbrunner is outperforming him at 2million w/ more potential for the future.

I TOTALLY disagree here... I think last night's game was that one moment

when Joe Nieuwendyk stopped being a Dallas Star in a better lookin jersey,

and now offically became one of US, you know ?? It was one of those kinda

moments, between the late goal and the OT BEAUT and the way that whole

line is going... we have other dead wood players we can trade (Berglund

or Danton case in point) if we are moving SOMETHING.. hey maybe even

Albelin has trade value now ?? *l*

Now, now, now it's only heresay... I hope.. it's

either that or people don't like when I give back

my opinon with both barrels.... *hoping it was

only bad timing (after all the crasher name was

only supposed to be an honor to the late, great

irreplacable crash line... not some death march !)

Hey is the sig better now ? *l*

I VERY much disagree with this.

Joe Class is a salt of the earth player that Lou loves. That Burnsy loves. He works hard every day... apparently as hard in practice as in games.

He ain't going nowhere by no trade deadline.

And if he can produce one goal more than Mogs in the late playoffs, you can bet we'll be seeing him next year and he'll be retiring red and black. (Lord I hope so.)
