Z-Man
According to Mike and the Moron, YES and Cablevision will finally announce an agreement to carry the YES network on all Cablevision outlets. Good news for those of you who are Yankee & Nets fans, but couldn't see any games. Also good news if the Devils wind up on YES down the road. NJayDevil
maybe Metro can go on Comcast now...
smelly
More importantly, it's good news because now the YankeeNets' cash flow will improve. Maybe, just maybe, we;ll get a new arena (I don't care where it is as long as its in NJ).
DevilMinder
That's great. I am sick of the cablevision/Anti-cablevision commercials!
SueNJ97
It's highly doubtful the Devs will ever see a penny of the new money. But I'm just glad this unending slap-fight is over. Two sets of gazillionaires fighting over how much OUR cable bills should go up makes me want to
smelly
I agree that Puck Holdings (AKA the devils) will not see a penny. But it will be in YankeeNets' corporate interest to build an arena, which would inure to the devs' benefit.
StarDew
maybe Metro can go on Comcast now... Prolly not...the reason Metro is not on Comcast is because Cablevision wants all cable carriers to pay and provide 3 channels to carry all 3 Metro channels not just the sport one...did you know that? No company will give ONE channel 3 SLOTS
NJayDevil
Damn Cablevision and their 3 channels of Metro. Let's turn it on and stare at the Turnpike traffic all day.

'7'
ok so when are they going to carry it and what channel will it be on? I hope it replaces some crap like speedvision or the golf channel I went to the cablevision site and apparently there is another round of channel changes due for Bergen County on 4/17/03 http://www.cablevision.com/customer/servic...annels_new.html is that when we're getting YES? devildoggie
Also good news if the Devils wind up on YES down the road. I thought the Devils were a done deal. that they were just waiting for the current TV contract to expire. Does anyone know when that is ?? When the current deal expires? sheeps
Damn Cablevision and their 3 channels of Metro.Let's turn it on and stare at the Turnpike traffic all day. The Metro Traffic and Weather has gotten me to Devils games faster thank you very much. We will be getting YES on March 31, just in time for the baseball season. I'm just dying to see those Yankee$, lol!!! They make me want to !!!!!!!!
eldon
Didn't Metro channels eliminate 1 of their 3 channels & are down to 2? I thought I read that a while ago. Either way, to make carriers carry all 3, or 2, when sports/traffic/weather can all be put on 1 channel, is retarded; but then again, it's Cablevision. They don't care if hundreds of thousands don't see their channels/events; even though they could probably charge more for advertising.
