Have Another Donut Posted May 14, 2008 Share Posted May 14, 2008 I was just listening to my iPod a few minutes ago and there is a song by Sum 41 called "No Reason" off their Chuck album. At about 8 seconds in there is a great guitar riff with a chorus of HEY! HEY! HEY! I feel (as purely a melody and the yelling) it would get the crowd pumped. It's something different, but still has a rocking sound that Devs fans are accustomed to. Thoughts? ya got my vote. it's great. loop the intro, overdub a few more heys over the instrumental part-bingo (what would be really cool would be to have actual Devils fans overdubbing the heys) it totally rocks-plus it's modern/uptodate-just like the ROCK! let's petition the Devs sorry assed "PR" dept. I did a quick and dirty edit-If I had the instrumental tracks I coulda used more parts like the break down/bridge part towards the end. Now we just need to get the Devils goal horn file and then mix it. So this should be the goal song. While I agree it'd be a neat song...one of the big complaints about Ole! was that it was too soccer-y. And if we're going soccer-y then I just want Ole! back dammit.
