That's what I thought. I knew about the one game in the finals rule...but does it hafta be a full game in the case of a goaltender? Ah well, it doesn't matter...WE WON!!! and the Schwabinator will get his name on the Cup!
GetReal
The team can put a name on the CUP. Like trainer etc. Schwab will be on the CUP.
CMaGee
Not true. Edmonton's owner's father's name was exed off by the NHL.
sheeps
Any reasonable addition to the Cup will be added. Schwab is more than reasonable.

StarDew
sammy...back up goal tenders are exempt from all rules for getting name on Cup..Schwabbie is one smart goalie eh
Beck27
The tema can put any players name on the Cup if they suited up during the season, and finished on the final roster. Look at 2000, Steve Kelly and Steve Brule are both on the Cup.
devilsrule33
Steve Brule? Are you serious. I can barely remember him.
Triumph
Steve Kelly played 10 games and Steve Brule played 1 game for the Devils in 2000. That's why they're on the Cup. I believe it's 40 games or a game in the playoffs. The Devils didn't have anyone who played 40 games and missed the whole playoffs, although Christian Berglund came close. So everyone who played a game will get their name on the Cup.
