If I'm GM I'd really go after Steven Lorentz on Florida. He hits UFA this summer and would be a lateral if not better option than Nosek in terms of bottom 6 depth. He's a gritty guy and plays fast hockey

Ugh when it comes to the coaching situation imo. When it comes to the 10th pick I would deal it for a player/goalie that would help the team immediately. There's been enough kicking the can down the road as the years go by. Maybe not the right words because it sounds harsh, but I would look to get someone who's going to contribute right away rather than burning another year or two while they hopefully develop. We're not talking top 2 here. I'm pretty sure the odds are at 10 it's a players who's not a given to even start at the NHL level if developed properly.

Me, too. I wanted Berube, but perhaps he was never a realistic option, especially after the Leafs job opened up. I’d be okay with Keefe.

Both Woodcroft & Evason have been at the worlds with team CA. I don't think Fitz had an opportunity to interview either in person? He likely did interview McClellan & other coaches that were already here. Wonder if Gronberg got a call?

I don't think there's any way Fitz trades #10 unless there's something really significant coming back. And, I don't mean Markstrom, Saros, or Ullmark. It should take a lot less to land one of them. This off season is going to be interesting. I like Necas but bI doubt Carolina gives up on him. Who would Carolina want in return?

Went to the Red Bulls vs nycfc game tonight at citi field. Going out there fvcking sucks, place is a bit of a dump too. Don't know how any of you Mets fans actually deal with going out there on a regular basis. The drive was an absolute nightmare to and from the place (it would have taken way longer to take public transportation there so I was never doing that in the first place)

Now that he's off the board officially, I think we'll have an announcement by Wednesday next week, maybe Monday. I saw that the Kraken were possibly talking to Dan Bylsma. He would be interesting to me as well.
