Diablo2424
Nice, this will be an exciting opener! Can't wait for my first full season ticket, season! :-) :: anxiously awaits the rest of the schedule to be released ::
RSC
Awesome. Watch them schedule the two games in Carolina during my winter break and spring break. Just watch it happen.

Yep that's what I'm waiting for as well, hopefully some interesting home games during my breaks
Quinn01
Great opener. Pumped to see how the full season will roll out.
RSC
Yep that's what I'm waiting for as well, hopefully some interesting home games during my breaks Do you go to school in North Carolina, 118?
Devilsfan118
Do you go to school in North Carolina, 118? Oh no I'm at Rutgers, a short train ride away from the Rock. But as fate would have it, I couldn't make any of the home games during my winter/Christmas break due to a family wedding (awesome time for a wedding, right?), and the Devils were on a road trip during my spring break last year. Total fail Edited June 23, 2011 by Devilsfan118
MDPucks
Game will be the Flyers second. Philly gets the honors of watching the Bruins raise the cup banner to the rafters 2 nights before. Stipulation of the game is loser pays the Bruins Foxwoods bar tab. I'm sure they'll be in a great mood.
Marv4Life
It wouldn't matter if they ruin the party by beating the Bruins. And we don't know if their roster--or ours--will remain the same by then.
njdevs89
So I wonder when our west coast trip o doom will be this year? Which west coast teams will we play twice? Questions questions questions...
Beck27
Nice, so we can expect the bus loads of flyer fans to fill the Mezzanine level again and watch as they get loaded, spill beer all over the place, blackout, and proceed to stab each other after the game. Sounds fun to me, just stand back and watch the gene pool clean itself

MadDog2020
Wonderful. Now the only question is whether we'll have a coach by opening night, or if Lou will still be conducting interviews at that time.
Prucenterrules
Come on Devils, let's kill the flyers opening night and prove that last year was just a fluke.
NJDevs4978
Mezzanine season tix have been selling for the upcoming season! So they'll kill themselves from the upper level, more room to fall
RSC
Wonderful. Now the only question is whether we'll have a coach by opening night, or if Lou will still be conducting interviews at that time. Lou's newest plan to keep Parise long-term is probably to give him the captaincy AND the head coaching vacancy.
MadDog2020
Lou's newest plan to keep Parise long-term is probably to give him the captaincy AND the head coaching vacancy. Lmao. I know Lou works in weird ways, but I don't know what hell he's waiting for with hiring a coach.
rangers suck69
hopefully this year the Devils will win at TD Garden when i go, unlike the two times in Boston last year. Ugh couldnt walk out of that arena without hearing it from 10 bruins fans every step i took
SatansDevils
Not suprised it is the Flyers. Tough home opener and hopefully this home opener the Devils will come out with the win. It is going to be an interesting home opening night and to see how many Flyers fans will make it to this game. Hoping more Devils fans will buy tickets to this game that way we won't see so much orange. Looking forward to the season and opening night. October 8th can't come soon enough. RSC
Schedule's out and the Devils are in Carolina the day after Christmas when I'll be in Jersey. Of fvcking course.
thelastonealive
January 17th through February 26th has 12 of 17 at home (including a six game home stand), no more than two in a row away, and including games at NYR and Philly, which barely qualify as road games. That's gonna be our season, right there.

MDPucks
I edited the original post with the schedule. A ton of afternoon games. LA, Colorado, and Dallas are the Devils Western Conference cross-overs. Edited June 23, 2011 by mdsieve
Quinn01
Well I can already say that I will be planning on attending the 11/11 against Washington, 12/31 against Pittsburgh, and 2/26 against Tampa Bay.
