Don
These are not necessarily my favorite albums, but albums that if I rated each song on it from 1 to 10, each and every song would be 7 or higher. Good grief, I sound like the idiot poetry teacher from "Dead Poets Society" (the one that takes over the class after Robin Williams character gets canned). Anyhow, on with the show: (1) Shiver - Rose Chronicles (2) Live Through This - Hole (3) Friendly Fascism - Consolidated (4) Fumbling Towards Ecstacy - Sarah McLachlan (5) Best of Don Henley - Don Henley (6) Nevermind - Nirvana (7) Flick of the Switch - AC/DC (8) Passenger - Tara McLean (9) Green - REM (10) Songs of Love and Hate - Leonard Cohen (11) Real Thing - Faith No More (12) Jagged Little Pill - Alanis Morissette ---------------------- But my three favorites of all time have at least one stinker: (1) Solace - Sarah McLachlan (2) I'm Your Man - Leonard Cohen and (3) Rage Against the Machine

Rock
I have a lot, but for some reason these came quickly to mind today: Exile on Main St.-Rolling Stones Aja-Steely Dan Never Mind the Bullocks, Here Come the Sex Pistols-Sex Pistols Back in Black-AC/DC London Calling-The Clash Houses of the Holy-Led Zeppelin Who's Next-The Who As I'm sitting here more will keep flooding in, so I'll just stop here. This is not an all inclusive list, but I wouldn't mind listening to these from start to finish as I have done in the past and will do so in the future. NJD Jester
I have a lot, but for some reason these came quickly to mind today:Exile on Main St.-Rolling Stones Not quite sure how I missed this one. I love the fact that the Stones greatest album probably produced the least amount of hits (Tumbling Dice was legit, but then what? Rocks Off? Happy?) <JESTER>

poohbear
Yeah, I don't get to listen to the radio enough to hear it overplayed. Guess that's a plus to not listening too much.

Don
Ooo... another Biafra fan. I once stuffed $40 into his tear-gas covered boot to make up for the fact that my cell phone went off in the middle of one of his stories. (Last time I ever forgot to turn it off - he actually went off tangent and talked about how Nader doesn't carry a cell phone with him) Which one is his latest? Edited July 6, 2004 by Don
RowdyFan42
As far as I know, "Machine Gun In The Clown's Hand" is his latest spoken-word album. I'm not really into his various music projects (though I've been meaning to hunt down some Dead Kennedys albums), but I've been hooked on his spoken-word material ever since I heard "Die For Oil, Sucker" on WRPI in the middle of the night on a few occasions. (The cool part is that the DJ would usually play classical music underneath the vocal track so that it sounded like more than just a speech.) I once stuffed $40 into his tear-gas covered boot to make up for the fact that my cell phone went off in the middle of one of his stories. (Last time I ever forgot to turn it off - he actually went off tangent and talked about how Nader doesn't carry a cell phone with him) He actually talked about that on "Machine Gun" (at least I think it was that; it may have been "Become The Media" -- it's late and I'm tired, thus my memory's fuzzy). He wasn't talking about you, was he?
Don
Well, "Become the Media" is ©2000. And I saw him in 2001. I've not heard "Machine Gun" - I'll have to pick that up this weekend. I'll let you know if he's talking about me. Actually, it was funny. He's in the middle of a story. My phone goes off. He stops his act and points at me. A few thousand people turn and look at me while I slink way down in my chair and turn the phone off. He then goes on how Nader doesn't carry a cell phone and how they are scourge of society. Half hour later another cell phone goes off. He stops his act and points at the girl. A few thousand people turn and look at the girl who slinks down in her chair and turns her phone off. Jello says, "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. YOU..... YOU WERE WARNED. That guy over there - he's a forgetful jackass - but you don't have any excuse. And for the rest of you - did I tell you the story of Nader not using a cell phone?"

Nature's Minister
You should totally check out Turbonegro. They rock. They act homosexual a lot, but they're not really homosexual. Ass Cobra is pure rock. Apocalypse Dudes is punkier but still pretty cool. Edited July 25, 2004 by Nature's Minister
