sammyk
Yeah he is the first player to play for two teams at the same time. Exactly and his numbers are misleading too. He has 18 goals for each team.
sandman441
Exactly and his numbers are misleading too. He has 18 goals for each team. Yeah which is a surprise because he travels almost all the time.
sammyk
Yeah which is a surprise because he travels almost all the time. This is where is height is of advantage. He can sneak in and out of games w/o anyone noticing. How else do you think the Rangers are actually winning this hear?

sammyk
I heard he was comprimised of two smaller people. Now that would be cool. He must be why we manage to stay under the cap. Only half of his salary counts for each team.
LucifersDog
The photo release was to be made after the 2006/2007 season after Gionta signs with the Rangers and before Gomez leaves with Elias.

Derek21
They must be anticipating the NHL career of Nigel Dawes. Coming to NHL arenas in 2006-07.

sammyk
...wow i am so confusedno, i mean seriously, what's going on here? You mean your original question was a serious one? I think we just all thought it was a joke as the guy in the pic doesn't even look like Gionta and is probably three feet taller than him! Neutral Zone Trap
The photo release was to be made after the 2006/2007 season after Gionta signs with the Rangers and before Gomez leaves with Elias. And in return the Devils sign Hedjuk, Zetterberg and Datsyuk
Risky
The photo release was to be made after the 2006/2007 season after Gionta signs with the Rangers and before Gomez leaves with Elias. Too bad GR's departure couldn't have been a little "silver lining" in what went on last week. Sigh. But, everything he predicts ALWAYS comes true, so I guess we're just sunk. tragedytrash
That photo is also from a gallery that has a photo of Cam Janssen listed as Grant Marshall, and a photo of Patrik Elias listed as Scotty Gomez among many other miscaptions. People mess up sometimes. The guy was probably looking at the rosters saw number 14 and wrote the name next to it forgetting to check what team the listing was for.
