devilsfan26
It's good to know they are serious about the ice quality. The ice last year was pathetic, I guess the NJSEA is to blame for that.

Triumph
Bad ice is probably good for our team, as it's constructed now.

nmigliore
Hope the ice is good (as are the boards).. but I'll miss that strange 'NJ Lottery' board ad at CAA
aylbert
My completely uneducated opinion says that Edmonton had a good pour, good construction... and it fvcking Edmonton... no wonder they can keep good ice. Im glad the Devils are doing the best to their ability to have the best ice. It would be great to get rid of the slush they use to play on in the 3rd period. Backyard rinks were constructed better than CAA
RowdyFan42
Is anyone really surprised that the Devils are endeavoring to have the best quality ice possible? This is a team where perfection is practically the standard nowadays, no less than this would have been acceptable. The ice was one of many things the Devils had no control over at the CAA that they do now; with that in mind, you can safely bet that Newark will consistently be home to one of the best sheets of ice in the NHL.
