Satans Hockey
I think this deserves its own thread as this should be a fantastic game. The sand volleyball court and the people doing yoga are so cheesy but either way this should be a fun one.
Satans Hockey
Suppose to be 65 degrees at the drop of the puck haha
mrthemike
I do wonder how well the ice is going to keep up. The yoga, beach volleyball, inline skating and palm trees are ultra cheesy.
MadDog2020
The beach volleyball court off to the side of the rink is hilarious.

Muevelos
118 degrees today on one side of the ice. Dam you know those dudes getting paid a ton to do this. Edited January 26, 2014 by CarterforPresident
Mike Brown
I think the two ice girls teams should play on the beach volleyball court in bikinis. In fact, instead of the shootout, they should just do that to determine which teams gets the extra point.

thefiestygoat
The novelty of outdoor hockey games has been beaten to death imo, but the LA set up with beach volleyball and a roller hockey rink is refreshing. Seeing the roller hockey rink reminds me of Pro Beach Hockey...they should've put one of those crazy rinks in!
Satans Hockey
I'm not even a kiss fan and their performance was awesome. I can't believe they didn't get a big group for tomorrow.
Mike Brown
Vin Scully and Bob Miller amping up the crowd was awesome!
Muevelos
I think I saw something ftom the NHL Recently that they are scaling back the outdoor games next year. Even though it's still in high demand.
devilsfan26
I think I saw something ftom the NHL Recently that they are scaling back the outdoor games next year. Even though it's still in high demand. I would hope so, they are beating the novelty out of this. They probably felt like they needed to do something extra this year to take last year's lockout off of fans' minds.
Satans Hockey
I love how half the stadium was booing the USC marching band haha
McMullen82
Vin Scully and Bob Miller amping up the crowd was awesome! That was great! Sadly the most recognizable living Yankees baseball voice out here is John Sterling
Mike Brown
I disagree with those saying there's too many outdoor games.
Muevelos
Demand is high. The money they are making. Now there going out west with success? Watch them try to throw a St.Louis, Chicago, San Jose one in. If it's gonna sell high there gonna do it. I would hope so, they are beating the novelty out of this. They probably felt like they needed to do something extra this year to take last year's lockout off of fans' minds. Lateralous
I disagree with those saying there's too many outdoor games. I like this. It can be a little more experimental than the Winter Classic and it also gives the league an opportunity to use teams outside of the usual suspects. It doesn't at all feel like a redux of the WC. I also understand the games at Yankee Stadium due to the lack of availability of the facility during bowl season and trying to piggyback on the Super Bowl hype. The stadium series game I have absolutely no use for is the Penguins vs Blackhawks. Feels like same sh!t, different Winter Classic. That's where I think the saturation of this whole thing will probably set in for me. The Heritage Classic also has it's place every couple years but I wouldn't have done it this year with the Winter Classic + LA & NY games already on the schedule. Daniel
That was great! Sadly the most recognizable living Yankees baseball voice out here is John Sterling Oh lord, please for the love of Jesus, Mohammed, Moses and Zeus, don't have that guy anywhere near to ruin the game tomorrow. Meanwhile, Anson Carter is pretty awful. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

skeeter
This game feels really stale to me for some reason. That's because it is. I can't even force myself to pay attention to it.
thecoffeecake
It just feels gimmicky and disingenuous. Maybe it's something about it not being in the cold for me, I don't know.
Mike Brown
With the Kings loss tonight, they're 4-10-3 in their last 17 games.
