Went to the Red Bulls vs nycfc game tonight at citi field. Going out there fvcking sucks, place is a bit of a dump too. Don't know how any of you Mets fans actually deal with going out there on a regular basis. The drive was an absolute nightmare to and from the place (it would have taken way longer to take public transportation there so I was never doing that in the first place)

I have a feeling that they are waiting for a few specific and possible names to come off the board before they settle for Woodcroft or Keefe. I think Brind'Amour was one of them. Now that he's off the board officially, I think we'll have an announcement by Wednesday next week, maybe Monday. I saw that the Kraken were possibly talking to Dan Bylsma. He would be interesting to me as well.

Necas for the 10th overall becomes intriguing, but something like that won't happen. I can see the Devils dangling the 10th overall to get a proven player for right now.

Berube can flash the ring that those two losers both don’t have and that should be enough to shut them up.

No single coach is going to walk into Toronto and fix that culture. It's crazy to think that. Alot of this culture is based around that locker room. Some players will have to go for that culture to switch, regardless of the coach. Their fans also seem to understand this. Potentially Rielly and/or Marner may be or need to go. And having Berube not piss of Matthews and Nylander trying his style will be huge.

I definitely think Keefe takes a lot of heat for that underperforming Toronto team, but I don't think much of it is on him to be honest. Berube may show up and have the same issues with Marner and Matthews as Keefe had. I actually think he is a very good coach. Before getting the Leafs gig, he was awesome with their AHL affiliate. He won a Calder Cup with them. His last season got to a start of 11-2-2-1 before he moved on to the big club. That Marlies team finished the season second to last in the division. I think he may be seen as soft or a "players coach" based on the way the Leafs have performed, but that video a few pages back shows him calling out Marner and Matthews during an intermission speech. Also it would be nice to see a coach show some emotion (as in the video below). I really believe he would be a good choice for the Devils. Hoping they can convince him to lead this group. Between Hines, Ruff, and Green, we have not seen something like this in a while.

The Rags barely faced adversity in this post-season, and when they did they hardly had an answer. If that sh!t goal from behind the goal line doesn't go in we could be having a discussion about a major choke instead of them facing the Panthers right now. A week ago people were acting like they were immortal but they showed otherwise and It'll be interesting to see how they take on a team like FLA that I cannot imagine will let them doormat them like WAS and CAR(at times not 5on5) did. I firmly believe that team is 50% sh!tstork, 20% Kreider, 30% everyone else. If those 2 guys do not will them to W it doesn't happen.
