ATLL765
Boucher now with 14 points in his last 14 games if I'm counting right. Very promising. Really hope he can become a regular contributor at the NHL level.Same goes for Black's first season. Almost at .5ppg. Would be great to have a little center depth in the organization. We really need someone who can fill that 3C spot since it seems like Josefson will never develop the offense to be anything more than a very good 4th liner. Really a shame since he's got some speed and is above average defensively. Just has no offense at all. Also, just a thought: With Gelinas seemingly the odd man out, you can only hope a trade can be swung for good value. There's a Toronto 6th round pick, Connor Brown putting up great numbers in his rookie season in the AHL. A bit undersized at 5'11" and 170lbs, but shoots right, which is something we lack. 8-17-25 over 34GP this season in the AHL. Not sure if Toronto is really looking for an offensive minded defenseman though. Edited January 4, 2015 by ATLL765

vadvlfan
Odds on Thompson getting an NHL deal next season? He's a RW to boot. I hope he gets a shot here on 4th line. He supposedly has serious wheels. Although Sestito gives us a lil sandpaper, he can't contribute in scoring. Maybe thompson can?

Triumph
Odds on Thompson getting an NHL deal next season? He's a RW to boot. I'd be a little surprised if he doesn't get a deal before this season (as Taormina and I believe Joe Whitney did). I doubt he's anything at the NHL level but he'll probably get a shot here at some point, especially if they move Jagr and Ryder.

HellOnICE
Yeah I'd like to see him signed and up here for that coffee after the AS break. It's a interesting situation. I think Albany deserves every shot it can to make the playoffs ,so they need their best players - but at the same time we need to evaluate some guys up here and see what they have. Triumph
With Wedgewood in net and basically 50% territorial they don't have much chance of making the playoffs. Thompson is at almost 5 shots a game for January now - he's really going on a tear.

ATLL765
Good to see Scarlett putting up points. He had 20 in 48GP last year, so you'd hope to see him improve upon that and put up at least .5ppg. Gives us aRH option as a possible call up. He'll be 22 in another 2 months and is in his 2nd pro season, so it's probably time to see if he can handle the NHL or if he'll never be anything more than he is now. Triumph
As things progress any chance we see Kinkaid and Clemmensen swap to get Albany some help towards the postseason? I don't think so. Kinkaid has earned the right to be in the NHL - the AHL playoffs aren't important enough to send a UFA goalie back to the minors to help them out.
