NJDevs4978
And missed in all the championship hoopla, Kubiak goes 'back' to Denver.
'7'
If you fire Fox then the next man up better be quality, and Kubiak isn't. At least if they went with Quinn or Bowles we'd know that despite the fact that they're mostly unknowns, Denver has done their homework and decided to throw everything behind one of those guys. Kubiak is a proven commodity, and he is not a better head coach than John Fox.

If he doesn't, Bill Walsh couldn't salvage that ship. The other thing they might see in Kubiak is that, if I recall correctly, he's something of an offensive line guru, which evidently was a huge problem, if you trust guys like Mark Schlereth from an X's and O's standpoint. MantaRay
Kubiak to Denver, looks like Kyle Shanahan gets a shot as OC with a real QB in Mr. Flacco
CRASHER
As much as I want to state how awful a coach that mister "I play for the 53 yard FG" Gary Kubiak is....I can't stop laughing today that Doug Marone FINALLY got a job offer.... O-line coach....in Jacksonville!!!

Muevelos
Gase to be bears. They just built a solid staff. The mind of Gase amd Fox amd one of the best Dc's with Fangio. They should, on paper be alot better this upcoming season.
MantaRay
Wow, I had read Young Shanny was leaning towards Baltimore, but I will take Trestman as OC with Morningweg as QB coach

MantaRay
Don't care, I love how we did. Would have perfered Kubiak as OC, but adapt, overcome.
CRASHER
Talk today about the possibility of signing Dez to 6 years and franchising Murray. On the one hand, giving someone like Demarco Murray a 1 year deal sounds perfect, but at 9 million on the cap (a solid 3-4 more than he would be long term), I'm not sure how I feel. I don't trust Randle to carry this offense, though I think a guy like Ingram, a 2nd round rookie scat-back like my classmate Duke Johnson, or even a jerry-approved McFadden would interest me. Also, if I'm jerry (see- stephen), I'm understanding that my window with this team is on #9, which I think realistically is ~3 years. Spend smart money, yes, but it's time to sign some big fancy toys for defense. The way miranelli could utilize Suh in his system has me chubs, but 18m for 1 guy or 18m for 3 solid defensive starters is debatable. There's plenty of RB's on the free agent market this year, the one scenario I do NOT want to see is Murray walking and Jerry bringing in AP as a fill-in since AP's window to be elite is a LOT smaller than Murray's, but there's ample choices out there.....Dez on the other hand....you ain't replacing him if he walks Suh is gonna be too expensive and he'd be the guy who would sign in Dallas and finally start getting the suspensions he deserves....I think I'd pass on him, downside and price tag scare me.....plus hopefully they actually get a snap or two out of Sean Lee this year...... CRASHER
Injuries in football (especially the non-contact ones that Lee seems to have)....they're so hard to predict (same thing happened to Alonzo in Buffalo too....I think).....the important thing with those guys is to make SURE the knee is 100% before they get back out there....but good God, would Lee be awesome in Maronelli's scheme.....I can still hope on that, he's too young for it to be his body breaking down or anything Murray was getting beat up before the O-Line became all world, I'd still rather have the younger guy with a bit less baggage who fit wonderfully with the team as opposed to the older vet (who WILL be good next year just because he's had a year to rest and wants to show the world something....AP in Buffalo....that's a scary fit ain't it?), and could use the bucks to spend elsewhere...plus you can always draft a dime a dozen running back in the 3rd or 4th round and hope he works out too, backs are the easiest of all players to really replace now....unless you're Arizona the top thing Dallas should be looking into is beefing up that D-Line a lil bit, I'm not too keen on throwing the Jerry Truck at Suh though....he's a suspension waiting to happen
Muevelos
No to Murray. You don't pay big bucks after the career year. Isn't worth it
CRASHER
No to Murray. You don't pay big bucks after the career year. Isn't worth it Depends on what "big bucks" is for a running back now....will he get a stupid contract like AP or any of the Carolina RB's have? Probably not But say $5 million over 3-4 years....with the declining money value of running backs since they are interchangable and there will be a decent number of them out there.....that might be palatable I am a bit worried that backs that gets as many touches as he did this year tend to decline and decline FAST in the year or two after
'7'
Nothing is going to happen (barring some unforeseen late breaking confession) there may be penalties going into next season, but the NFL will let the Patriots go into this game intact, and this thing will fester on for another week. Hi, I'm VALUE!
Report: Eagles trade LeSean McCoy to Bills for Kiki Alonso. Source is CBSSports.com
'7'
Why did Philly do that? And into our division where we're going to have to deal with him twice a year. And Alonso is coming off an ACL tear...you know not everybody in then NFL comes back from that and becomes the player that they were.
NJDevs4978
Simplest answers are Alonso played for Kelly at Oregon and he thinks his offensive system is so great he could plug anyone in (hence giving D-Jax the boot last year after a career season), plus they do actually need defensive help. Onddeck
Can't make sense of the trade either. It has to be a salary dump for the eagles. L HAS to be. Maybe they want a more power runner. I'm sure they're trying to spend big in FA But still, getting a guy who's much less valuable and is coming off a serious leg injury in return makes even less sense. If I was Philly l, I would've asked for draft picks
