They are supposed to keep their sticks down low, and he was moving up to cut the forward off. He did everything right on that play... it was just a lucky bounce. So 2-0 after 1:30. So we're on pace to lose 80-0. Of course it was White's fault! The Devils defense have to stop every Bruins' shot tonight - it's not like there's anyone else back there who can. "That first Bruins goal was a Gyro Slapshot!" referring to the "greatest day" in Red Sox history, the signing of that Japanese guy. He got into a fight with Alberts, they both threw down there gloves and went at it. Where the hell did the 2 and 10 come from? It's called Buttman's treasured Instigator rule... He got the five for fighting and then the minor and a misconduct for sticking up for his teammates. So Thomas sucks twice as bad. Clemmenson still doesn't belong in the NHL. We are not going to be able to convince any backup goalie with reasonable amount of talent to sign for league minimum and play 5-8 games a season. The only reason Clemmy plays so few games is because he's so bad. Terreri, Dunham and Schwab all played more often - because they could win once in a while. Guys like White Hale and Matvichuk are only in the news when they do something out of the ordinary. Nobody ever remembers the simple things they do night in and night out to win games.
