eldon
Pretty big news, though I'd rather they lose with him in the lineup. Isles have at least a better chance tonight. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=296373
Devil Fan
IMO, it would be called a great season if they make the playoffs.

HellOnICE
Well, who knows what it is, but you gotta assume its precautionary.
funetiklee
the rags have been really tight-lipped about this injury since it happened. i'm really interested in seeing what's wrong with him and how long he'll be out. correct me if i'm wrong but if he suffered just a contusion and was being held out tonight because he was too sore to go, then wouldn't they say that? imo this is gonna turn out to be a big thing. Toaster13
Wow there has been a lot of injuries so far this early into the season. Now Luongo is out as well.
Devil Dan 56
The fact that they were adamant that this was in NO WAY related to a previous injury makes me wonder. Also, Luongo being hurt does not bode well for Vancouver. That team is taking injuries like we did last year. Actually, didn't Luongo go down around the same time as Marty last year? SatansDevils
Let the games missed begin for Marian Gaborik. It was just a matter of time before he got injured and missed some games.
RWTDblog
this should quiet the Rangers fans a little bit. The guy is just too fragile, he should go play golf for a living.
Colorado Rockies 1976
In a twisted sort of way this is kind of a good thing for the Rangers, as much as I hate to admit it. His being out early might help them prepare for that (likely) scenario should it repeat itself down the line. If Gaborik was going to get hurt, I would rather see it happen at the end of the season, with the Rangers suddenly blindsided and scrambling to adjust.
