DaneykoIsGod
We all know there's a lot of dead weight on this roster. Some are players not playing up to their contract value. Some are guys past their prime. Some never had a prime. Instead of focusing on them, let's focus on who's been good. If you had to list the guys that you want to continue to see on the team, who would you pick? Try not to focus on contracts or sentimentality or anything like that. This is from a pure hockey standpoint. Who has shown you the goods that you want to continue to see displayed in a Devils uniform? Here's mine: Forwards: Parise Elias Zubrus Arnott Zajac Kovalchuk Pelley Defensemen: Volchenkov White Goalies: N/A P.S. First funnyguy to post "No one" gets a flaming bag of dog poop on his porch. DaneykoIsGod
We're not taking into account contracts? Two guys: Elias and White. Damn, and I thought my list was short. Out of curiosity, how does your list look if contracts are taken into consideration?

CarpathianForest
I'm in the minority that likes Fayne. He's had his share of rookie mistakes but he pinches in pretty well in the offensive zone. Hopefully we have a 4th line already set for next year in Mair, Pelley, Sestito Edited December 27, 2010 by CarpathianForest

CarpathianForest
Pelley? Why? Because he tries hard? I would venture to guess that we'd be much more satisfied with a team that worked as hard as Pelley but still lost.
Kulags
I would venture to guess that we'd be much more satisfied with a team that worked as hard as Pelley but still lost. I wouldn't. No winning = no satisfaction, period. If I wanted to watch a team try hard and still lose I'd be an Islanders fan.
DevilinLA
Pelley, Tedenby, Volchenkov Contracts included. I think anyone that says Parise is looking with their heart.... granted he was hurt - but it still counts.
Jerrydevil
Mattias Tedenby and Colin White. That's it. I exclude Parise because he hasn't played much.
coldply123
Short List Right Now: 1. Elias 2. White 3. Mair Everyone else is either borderline (Zubrus, Pelley) or horrible (Greene, Clarkson), or inconsistent (Kovalchuk, Zajac), or have mentally checked out (Arnott, Langenbrunner). Chimaira_Devil_#9
Out of the players who have actually played more than 10 games? Elias- Best player by far, always a threat on the ice and makes plays happen. Tedenby- Young guy, learning his way and improving as he goes. Pelley- He does as he is asked, helped the PK become pretty effective. Zubrus- He still really needs to score more, but he does what none of our other forwards do, and he gets his hands dirty Arnott- He has done what i expected, slowing a little bit now. There are a lot of players who are inbetween: Hedberg, Kovlachuk, Mair, Volchenkov, Langs and Zajac But i think my expectations of them is a lot higher. That expectation is what sees Marty on the Sucks list, sad times
2L3MI3UX2
Can't wait to see Tedenby when he has a solid veteran core around him that is playing well. He looks great out there... so did Josefson. We are the Flyers in 2 years after Lou gets a stud d-man.
