ATLL765
Clarkson showing better form yesterday and today along with a nice shot from Fayne. Hopefully Clarkson can put up around 15 goals like this over the course of the season. Edited October 2, 2011 by ATLL765
soulartist23
Urbom's not playing bad, in fact looks like he's playing more physical than he did last night. He's made a couple mistakes, but so has Larsson in previous games. I wouldn't complain if he were sent down after tonight, but so far he looks pretty good for the most part. Random Poster
Clarkson should be made to watch video of his goal tonight until his eyes bleed to get it through his head that's exactly what he has to do to be effective. Go to the net. No excuse why he can't do that more effectively night in and night out.
Scottie2Hottie
Would have been cool to see Marty score haha
Beck27
One note on last night...Mark Fayne looked like a 10 year NHL vet; this guy's development has been nothing short of astounding.
Quinn01
Overall I was happy with the play last night. The team worked hard, worked well together besides a few miss reads and bumps into eachother. Marty had an awesome game. Fayne worked really hard also which I noticed and watched the whole game. jim777
That was a very mediocre effort by a poor team or a miserable effort by a good one in my opinion. Tallinder looked embarrassingly bad, and often. I'm hoping he's got an unannounced severe headcold or something I thought Larrson, Green, and Fayne were the best defenseman playing last night. I honestly think the Devils would have been humiliated if the guys who sat out for the Flyers had been playing. Glad it was pre-season, that would have had me pulling my hair out if it counted. adam85491
does anyone know the name of that 'oh yeah' song they played at the arena last night? I hear it almost every game. I think there's a thread for this but I didn't find it.
Section21
I believe the song you are looking for is "Chelsea Dagger" by the Fratelli's
adam85491
They played that yesterday but the one I'm looking for is more rockish and the only two words they play are "ohhh yeahhhhhhh"

Colin226
It just continues to prove how the Devils need a guy standing in front of the net to mess with the goalie's vision and bang home rebounds.. Why they choose to keep guys on the perimeter, I will never understand

It seemed so obvious, yet only happened 1 out of every 20 times.
Pepperkorn
I know -- and to me it always reads like fear. The Devils the past few seasons play like the refs are a 7th opponent and an interference call will be made at the drop of a hat so they won't even try. It may be the organization has put that fear in them... but they take enough stupid penalties that I don't understand... it just boggles my mind.
