Risky
This was supposed to be a poll, but apparently I'm a real DJ Stubbs when it comes to creating polls, so I'll just open the forum for discussion. My options, to kick it off: 1) The Emperor (Lou Lamoriello) holds the reigns to the Empire 2) Pat Burns Returns (Kills puppies; wins championships) 3) Lou dies hard, promotes John MacLean (yippi-kai-yay, motherf*ckers!) 4) We reel in Ron Wilson, freshly made shark meat 5) __________________ Discuss. sundstrom
Not really a poll, but I would put the odds this way: MacLean: 3-1 Burns: 6-1 Eaves (has been rumoured): 12-1 Lou: 15-1 Field: 10-
Risky
I like Burnsie coming back. I think Lou kept him around for a reason. I don't think Johnny Mac is ready yet (I can see him stepping in when Marty leaves).

I don't think Johnny Mac is ready yet (I can see him stepping in when Marty leaves). I'd really like to see Burns come back, but I get the feeling that if Johnny Mac doesn't get it, we lose him as an assistant, which I really don't want to see. Je suis torn. LizDevil30
I think Lou missed out on a couple of gems in Joel Quennville and Andy Murray. Colorada made it interesting up until the wire and the Blues played better under Murray.

sabamaha
I think Lou missed out on a couple of gems in Joel Quennville and Andy Murray. Colorada made it interesting up until the wire and the Blues played better under Murray. Sorry, Joel Quenville is the biggest hack - he coached St Louis to complete mediocrity and every season that team underachieved more and more til they finally didn't make the playoffs. Then they dumped him, and then Colorado (a team that should have made the playoffs) didn't either.
HellOnICE
Burns if he is healthy enough. MacLean would be fine for a younger rebuilding team, this is a veteran team with a shot at the Cup. We need a war horse. Burnsy deserves his old job back.

SatansDevils
If Burns gets his medical clearance he wil be back on the bench for the Devils. If not it will be MacLean.
