John Wensink Posted September 14, 2007 Share Posted September 14, 2007 (edited) I got there around 9:30 and saw the last half of practice of the first team. Here are the lines from what I saw Gio-Zubris-Elias Parise-Zajak-Clarkson (I think it was him, player had #47 on helmet) Asham-Madden-Pando Brylin-Rupp-Jansen Langs was missing. The "D" was the seven listed on the offical roster and I think Corrente. The did not scrimmage so tough to tell how the chemistry will be. Some note - Zubris is a big boy, as is Vishnevski. Suter runs a crisp pracitce and seemed to be pushing the 1st man it to really pressure. I then stayed for an hour of the 2nd team. Viuhkola can pass, but looks smaller than the listed 6'0" on the Devs site Bergfors looked smaller than I thought he would be...he can skate and had a coulple of good one-timers. Romano has speed and hands too, but again small. Strangely there were only 3 "D" dressed for practice (Zimmerman, Malmivaara and I forgot the third...sorry) I guess beacuse there was going to be a third session with other prospects. Basically it was just great to see the boys again. I want to try to go next week to see a scrimmage.
