Not that I have respect, but I don't think I hate him more than Steve Downie, who has no respect for other players, no considerations for others, and is just a dirty, sorry excuse for a player. Not sad on the part of the people voting, but sad in the fact that there are so many filthier scumbags in the league that someone who broke another player's neck doesn't have a vote. I went Simon, BTW. Dude's got serious head issues. Downie is Simon Jr. at this point, and Avery is just annoying. Annoying doesn't necessarily = dirty. Downie is a freakin punk as well, which puts him a close second. He fought Clarkson like a little girl the other night.....tried to scratch his eyes out. NJDevs4978 Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 Simon's halfway out the door anyway (same with Hatcher), if I had empircal power I'd rather 'ban' a player that could be a pain in the ass for the next ten years or so. As much as I loathe Avery and most if not all the others on the list, I'd pick Downie. Avery's as much of a circus act as anything else, Downie can be a WMD on-ice. Steve Downie has already made a name for himself even though he isn't even drinking age yet, but Simon has the longer track record and seems to be getting worse with age. Watch the video again if you like - it's pretty obvious, and it's a standard Tie Domi tactic that he used for years.
