NJDevs26
Raising prices in a lot of areas would be about the dumbest thing they could do. The mezz is already a ghost town for half the games every year as it is and $35 face ($29 sth) for an upper corner is also moronic, if anything those should go down but what they'll probably do is hold them as is or raise them a buck and jack up the center ice uppers because as it is now it's patently unfair to get a ticket in 212 or 229 for the same prices as 209 or 232. Devils1985
Interesting. They held the line on prices in Trenton. Of course they could hardly raise them with a straight face but still.....

Colin226
I feel like the Devils have 2 options.. 1) Charge less.. This means making less per ticket, but you hope that lower prices will increase attendance.. If attendance doesn't go up you lose out 2) Charge more.. This means making more per ticket, but you have less people attend because of the higher price I get the feeling the Devils don't expect to ever have consistently high enough attendance to justify charging less.. So they assume if crowds will be low they might as well charge more per ticket.. It's simple business but as a STH i fear higher prices.. They let me keep my $22 a game this season because that was my rate last season, so I'm praying they do it again.. Yeah I'm front row but I'm in the freakin corner.. We shall see
Dead
As you can see the prices went up.... http://devils.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=61536 Edited March 24, 2010 by Dead
Colin226
Thanks Dead! What do you guys think of the new Lime and Silver sections? Seems like they are trying to get more people to sit behind the goals and really fill the lower bowl.. The balconies are going to be ghost towns (except for big big games) like they were this season.. Well all I can say is they better let me keep my $22 a game.. Def go for a flex plan if your looking to save some dough. 8 tick minimum.

maxpower
lol, those are "why did you even bother?" increases. look out upper STH's, you'll be paying $1 more a game! mine went up $4 on the "new pricing catagory" technicality. of course, I'm in the last row of the catagory. Devil Dan 56
Woohoo still $15 for my section! How the hell do you get season tix there anyway? Waiting list?
skeeter
They are absolutely insane. They still won't get people to sit in the usually empty hundreds of seats behind the goals for those prices, the mezzanines will still be ghost towns, and $37 for the cheapest single game tickets? This better be Kovy pricing, and they'd better make a trip to the finals to demand that kind of money in this kind of economy. Who the hell is gonna pay $42 a game to sit in the mezzanine when 90% of the games have offers for tickets at $35 or less? I also don't think anyone has ever paid $115 to sit behind the goals downstairs. I've sat down there a bunch of times for free. Looks like I'll be building my own plan with all the discount offers again.
HellOnICE
They sentiment above is right. Certain people way certain prices...although you have to think Club seats will be lost again...that's a big difference over 44 games. Anyway - most seats are discounted on a nightly basis anyway. Souray44
How the hell do you get season tix there anyway? Waiting list? When they first put out the Rock season ticket plans at the last season at Continetal, they included $10 season tickets. We had last row $25 season tix at CAA for 20 years (prices varied lol) and we thought that this deal is unreal. So when I called to inquire they said they were not available. I was pretty pissed because in all the literature it said $10 season tix in the 4 upper corners. So me and all the people we sit with called and harrassed the Devils saying it was false advertising and they need to send retraction letters to everyone because they printed something that wasn't real. After a few weeks they had a meeting and decided that they will be available. I think for only the first 3 rows in each section but not sure. We were $10 the first and seaosn ticket holders in each section were bumped to $15. Now I think there is a 3+ year waiting list. So affordable for me and my wife. We were very lucky. Nice, mine are $28 (well, looks like 30 now I guess). I guess I'm gonna ask to go on the waiting list because honestly, I'm right next to a 10 dollar section anyway. skeeter
WE HAVE A WAITING LIST FOR SEASON TICKETS!!!!!!!! Yes. A waiting list for the luxury of paying $15 for $10 seats, which of course tells the Devils to raise the once $20 and $25 seats to $37. Genius I say.
