Neb00rs
Kovy will get a package including use of a Ritz-Calton Condo in AEG's billion dollar development in LA. Kovy will also be establishing his home/state residence in Nevada: 0% Income Tax and most likely in Las Vegas. (AEG has interests there too) California's State Income would be: 11+% There's tax exemptions (state residency) for professional sports players anyway. AEG is a powerful private multi billion dollar conglomerate that can woo Ilya and Nicole with VIP service to anything they own and control around the planet. Maybe watch a future Manchester Utd vs Chelsea championship game at O2 stadium in London to a local or around the world concert. Exclusives to HOLLYWOOD events (Grammys, Oscars, Movie releases, etc) Nicole Kovalchuk is a former entertainer so it's pretty much obvious what would appeal to her... and usually most people. AEG is very powerful across multiple industries, across the planet. Source?
David Puddy
According to Єklund (2.3% accurate) (2.3% accurate), "Today Ilya is going around with Dustin Brown and another King, to check out LA and his wife is being taken shopping to all the finer spots"... so Kovy is probably out banging models a la Vinnie Chase while his wife is being kept busy. And who knows if this falls into that 2.3%: "I can also clarify the actual offers...They are not nearly as big and long as being reported. The Devils is still around 60M/over 7 years, while the Kings is a few more years, a little less per year.."
overtime98
grossman mixed up his calendar i guess. per 2.3, this is pretty hardcore: * Today Ilya is going around with Dustin Brown and another King, to check out LA and his wife is being taken shopping to all the finer spots... * looks like the kings are really doing all the right things to make this happen. * meanwhile, Lombardi and Grossman, Kovalchuk's agent, are apparently talking business. * tonight, another big dinner at a private LA restaurant. Didnt I call this on another post? lol

CADevilsFan
Define California experience...cuz I've never been there. Are we talking sleeping on Skid Row or Beverly Hills Shopping? You know, I haven't actually gone to it. It's always seemed redundant to me, having grown up here.

Jas0nMacIsaac
why would Rolston play C, and why wouldn't Zubrus be a top 6 RW instead of Clarkson? anybody that watched the tape could see Zubrus played well with Parise and Zajac. unfortunately, the coach wasn't one of those people. Clarkson is an awful fit with Arnott and Elias. Arnott's role is clearing space and Elias gives the puck up to other players too easily. Clarkson is incapable of giving the puck back to forwards. if it comes to the point that no kid can play 3rd line C, they're going to have to put Zubrus there or get one. Rolston isn't an option. All you can do with him at this point is challenge him not to be a pansy (and this didn't work with Sutter), and line him up on the point on the PP and hope he's lucky. Did you not read.....Feel free to make changes...the lines mean nothing. The opening's on the roster however do.

Neb00rs
“You always keep it in mind,” he said. “You never do something today without tomorrow in mind or in sight or in thought. I’ve always said that when you run an organization or professional team that you have to have a four-to-five year plan in your mind that changes every day. But you have to have a template and you have to have a feeling for when players expire, what’s available, what’s not available, and you have to be absolutely cautious at this time with a new CBA coming in two years." I have no doubt Lou won't let us collapse when the core players retire.
