Scrap the divisions, 1v8 in conference, launch offside review into the sun, goalie interference review moves from officials to NHL Hockey Ops, crack down on slashes/obstruction.

Playoff format is garbage. There is no reason the #1 and #2 teams in the league should be playing each other in the second round meanwhile Ottawa has home ice in the first 2 rounds.

So the Pens won the cup.....At least it wasn't the Rangers .

Get rid of instant replay. I hate it. The risk of a referee making a bad call is what keeps the game exciting. Sure, it sucks if you're on the wrong side, but that's the way the game should be played. I am against it in all sports in all situations.

Offside challenges, and the intent to blow the whistle sh!t. Also refs need to be more patient with the puck being handled by the goalie before calling the play dead. And. fvck Crosby.

1) Division alignment- Won't complain about uneven teams in the conference as I see the logic (Detroit should suck it up and be in the West tho). However, the Metropolitan is going to continue to get screwed going forward. Just give the two division winners the top 2 spots and just fill in the next 6.

The "authentics" that will be available for sale are the made in Indonesia pseudo-authentics and not 100% the same as the ones the players wear. current indo edges have layered twill crests and fight straps, but the jersey is not the same as the Edge 2.0's the players wear.

Offside review is #1 in my book. The Preds goal called back in game 1 is exactly what is so bad about the rule. Nashville dominated the game to that point, score a goal and then out of no where they find an "infraction" from 33 seconds earlier. Not only does it take a goal off the board, the PPG center was absolutely rocking after the overturned goal because it was basically like getting a free goal out of nowhere. Pens had all the momentum coming out of that sequence which just isn't right. Agreed, that NBC could use a few more analysts instead of personalities in their broadcasts.

add to this "....and the death of the grinder" ....and this is how I feel about the NHL too....anytime I hear someone prattle on about "skill" and "point production" I want to punch a baby ....so I just turn it off and do something else.....I miss the days where we cared about heart and soul players and "paying the price to score dirty goals" and not obsessed with "skill stick goals" and that garbage....and yes "AND STAY OFF MY LAWN"

The continued removal of physical play and over-hyping of certain teams has basically made my interest in hockey pretty much nil. The only thing I care about since the Devils are in rebuild is the trade deadlines and draft.

Sucks that Pittsburgh had to win again. It's so tough to win back to back, and it has been my hope for more than a decade now that the Devils would have been the next team to do that since the 97-98 Wings, but oh well. Gotta tip your hat to them because it's truly an accomplishment. The refs may have had their hand in some of the games, but despite how much we hate the Pens and certain biases and favoritism they may get, it does in fact go both ways, and they did earn it. They were the better team in the series, and they were the best team this season/playoffs.

But the NHL told me that's the teams I should root for!
