This team just cannot score. With all the fvcking firepower we have we just can't seem to get them.

Geez, Larsson went from hero to goat doing an ole with Chimera bearing down on him.

It started with tedenby carrying the puck in and holding onto it for too long and turning it over and clarksons bad timing for a line change.

Larsson still had position on Chimera and let him get an uncontested chance. As far as Tedenby, if you're not going to play him on the PP then send him down.

Tedenby is useless and for some reason everyone on this board loves him because of his speed but he is playing a minor league type game and gets knocked off the puck quite a bit. He should have not made the team this year and I hope he gets used as trade bait.

Cue the NJDEVS.com temper tantrums!

This team just has a knack of outplaying their opponents and then still losing. It is understandable that people get pissed.

The clown sitting right behind me in 120 is really annoying me now, calling for Moose after the second goal...I guess Marty's supposed to stop Chimera when Larsson gave him all day to score. Then accusing DeBoer of 'benching' Kovy

EDIT: It was actually two idiots lol, one Devs fan and one Caps fan equally dumb.

This game is a statement on the type of team the Devils are. The Devils can outplay a team and lose because they can not finish, Kovalchuk or not. They had plenty of chances tonight. They make a mistake, catch a bad bounce and they are behind or lose. They simply are playing an opponent more talented then they are that can make them pay. They probably beat a lesser opponent tonight, but that's the way it goes.

If it wasn't for the PK, SO's and OT, this team would be where the 2010 team was. The PK is saving their asses big time. The PP is pathetic. Want to see a team that's where they are because their PP is good? See the Rangers. That's the difference a PP can make in a league that is going to decide games by the whistle.

This game is also a statement on the type of team the Capitals are. They can get outplayed and all they need is one break or one bounce and their talent level takes over.

That's the differemce between a team that's a Cup contender to a team that's a 7-8 spot playoff team at best.
