Satans Hockey
I got the Hockey News yearbook in the mail today... They have the Ducks winning the cup again against the Senators. Pretty bad prediction that the Ducks are going to repeat until Scott Nieds makes up his mind on whether or not he is going to play. Here is the rest... Eastern Conference 1 - Ottawa Senators 2 - New York Rangers 3 - Carolina Hurricanes 4 - Pittsburgh Penguins 5 - Buffalo Sabres 6 - Tampa Bay Lightning 7 - New Jersey Devils 8 - Atlanta Thrashers 9 - Philadelphia Flyers 10 - Washington Capitals 11 - Toronto Maple Leafs 12 - Florida Panthers 13 - Montreal Canadiens 14 - New York Islanders 15 - Boston Bruins Western Conference 1 - Detroit Red Wings 2 - Anaheim Ducks 3 - Calgary Flames 4 - San Jose Sharks 5 - Minnesota Wild 6 - Vancouver Canucks 7 - Nashville Predators 8 - Colorado Avalanche 9 - St. Louis Blues 10 - Chicago Blackhawks 11 - Dallas Stars 12 - Los Angeles Kings 13 - Edmonton Oilers 14 - Columbus Blue Jackets 15 - Phoenix Coyotes Edited August 25, 2007 by Satans Hockey

TravisZajac
LOTCB..Buffalo has still a good core, even without BRIERE/Drury..They won't be contenders this year, But they're still a good team.

Devils Pride 26
I was hoping they would have us missing the playoffs. I like the underdog role, when its like Devils against the world.

Weekes Head
HuMmMMMm .."They put Frazee too high, same goes for Mike Hoeffel. I'm not quite sure about that. Frazee is actually pretty damn good, despite his super fluky goal he gave up not too long ago. I think he might have a legitimate shot at a decent NHL career. I think he has the tools to be a GOOD Number one goalie/Back-up, Though I would put him 5th, Corente/Greene are higher than him IMO"

PaDevsFan
All I care about is getting to play the Rags in the playoffs and ending their season!!! Would be even sweeter if it was the first round!
xxchaznjxx
for the first time in 8 years, i did not renew my subscription to the hockey news(though i did get the yearbook so i think that's my final issue). besides the fact that i can get all the info i need online, i felt recently that they have been taking a lot of cheap shots at lou and the devils. maybe i'm just being too sensitive about it, but it just seemed to me that week after week they couldn't resist giving lou or the devs a hard time. i won't miss getting this rag. USC09
I'm happy that they left the Flyers out with the additons of Timonen, Hartnell, Briere, Lupul, and Smith. Their lines should be Gagne Briere Knuble Hartnell Carter Lupul Kapanen Richards Umberger Eager Potulny Upshall They probably will have to dump some D-Men cause they have excess amount of D-Men. I say Kukkonen, Parent and Jones will begin the season in the Phantom system. Rathje is hurt. Timonen Smith Gauthier Hatcher Coburn Picard As for the Sabres, they are my dark horse pick, because they have talent from within in Zagrapan and Stafford. I still think with Roy, Afinogenov, Vanek, Kotalik and Hecht they can compete. And their defense is still strong with a healthy Spacek and Tallinder.
