SatansDevils Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 (edited) This is a very important game for the Devils. Two days off for Brodeur and this game they have to have IMO. With both Pittsburgh and Ottawa losing last night the Devils need to take advantage of this. They could put a little cushion on both Pittsburgh and Ottawa with a win tonight over the Capitals. If the Devils win they would be 3 points up on Pittsburgh for the division and 4 points up on Ottawa for #1 overall in the EC. Devils need to start pulling away here from the pack and have a nice secure spot in the playoffs. Also this will be the first game seeing Federov in a Capitals uniform. Devils need to contain Federov, AO and Backstrom. Tough task tonight for Madden and Pandolfo and think they can do it. LETS GO DEVILS! However with all that said, I think the Devs can still put them away. They just need to play like they played against Carolina last week.
