'7'
Last year I remember thinking that Yzerman would hand it to Duchesne or Robitaille since they've been in the league forever and haven't won it yet. Didn't Yzerman turn around and hand it to his daughter, who ended up giving it to her 4th grade class, who then handed it to the family dog, who then handed it to the mailman and then finally the Caesars Pizza delivery guy before the rest of the team got the cup. didn't they have some cheezy ceremony where everybody and there 4th cousin was on the ice with the team? No traditional victory lap. Just a family picnic with a thousand camcorders and baby strollers. would Lou allow this?
SBT
Brodeur should get the Cup next. No, Lou would not allow a circus atmosphere.
'7'
I think the captain and the assistants should lift the cup together. This was a tradition that Messier broke in 1994. They should put Gionta in the cup, bet he'd fit!
SBT
The Cup belongs in the hands of the Vezina finalist/Hart finalist.
NJayDevil
Stevens, Marty, Madden, Langy, LITTLE G, then so on! lmao.
SBT
Without Brodeur, there isn't even a playoffs much less a Cup.
'7'
say Brodeur already has the Smythe, it would be too greedy for him to take the cup after Stevens then. he couldn't anyay, photo ops.
David Puddy
It's a little early to be talking about this, don't you think? We sound like Duck fans.
SBT
Holding the Conn Smythe AND the Cup at the same time? A major juggling act indeed.
ice dog
Melanie should come out, squat down and piss in the cup...then Marty could take the cup over to the Disney box and tell the retard Eisner, "congrats here's your cup why don't you take a drink from the cup"... CHICO IS GOD
If Dano plays, he should but for a "fair" thing to do, give it to the assistants then whoever.
Beck27
Knock on wood, knock on wood, knock on wood, knock on wood, but Dano should be handed the Cup next, then to Nieuwy.

thegame346
You know not to antagonize the Ducks any (Tee hee) but we should let Friesen hold it next on the pond. Wouldn't that be great.
Rock
Let's not discuss this until they actually have won it. If....

Z-Man
This thred is worse than the one about whether the Devs should win in 4 or wait until Game 5 at home. Good job. Ducks in 7.

NJDevs4978
It's funny the fine line we walk sometimes. Game 5 we were encouraging ourselves to be confident and now we're hiding under tables trying not to be confident in Game
Jimmy Leeds
It was disgusting what Detroit did. That Pizza guy gave "jobs" for all his pathetic friggin' relatives....who in turn got their names on the cup. Scumbucket.
MacPhisto
Didn't Yzerman turn around and hand it to his daughter, who ended up giving it to her 4th grade class, who then handed it to the family dog, who then handed it to the mailman and then finally the Caesars Pizza delivery guy before the rest of the team got the cup. Yeah right. He handed it to Bowman, and then to Hasek. As for the celebration, I bet no one complained when Canada won the gold and every player shared that moment with their families, who actually support them all year long and not just when they're winning. Let's bash Yzerman, yeah. Like you're worth a millionth of him.
BlueSkirt
Well, it's not a jinx to talk about this now, so: He should hand it to the 2 Alternates first, then Dano.
