Good team was good. I really think what lindy did was more impressive than Boston being Boston regardless of the record they set. I understand the bias but I think taking a bottom 5 team to a 2nd round playoff run is more impressive than a good team being really good. The best part of this is that now I can turn it off lol

So it was the usual cringe fest I guess? Coming in second in the entire league isn't something to be dismissive over, a few years ago no Devils names were on these.

Yea it was rather bad and I only turned it on for a few minutes here and there. I feel like they could easily make that a lot better and with minimal effort.

FWIW Nico was 2nd.

The NHL should probably just call it the Patrice Bergeron Award until he retires.  It's pretty much become his to lose (which is a testament to how good he's been all these years).

Agreed, it's basically the only award where there is no debate around the winner.

With the Norris, you have people comparing plus minus, teammates impact etc. etc. With Bergeron it's just everyone saying "yeah, seems fair, probably accurate, well deserved".

At this stage he could retire and I think he would still get some nominations.

Hoping Nico can firmly put his stamp on it for the next decade.

This is how it was with Lidstrom with the Norris.

Well, we did have a Hart Trophy winner five years ago in one of the greatest seasons a Devil has ever had.

How far Taylor Hall has fallen. From Hart winner to salary dump in 5 years. He's only 31. Thank god we traded him.
