I understand the bias but I think taking a bottom 5 team to a 2nd round playoff run is more impressive than a good team being really good. Yea it was rather bad and I only turned it on for a few minutes here and there. I feel like they could easily make that a lot better and with minimal effort. With the Norris, you have people comparing plus minus, teammates impact etc. etc. With Bergeron it's just everyone saying "yeah, seems fair, probably accurate, well deserved". At this stage he could retire and I think he would still get some nominations. Hoping Nico can firmly put his stamp on it for the next decade. Well, we did have a Hart Trophy winner five years ago in one of the greatest seasons a Devil has ever had. How far Taylor Hall has fallen. From Hart winner to salary dump in 5 years. He's only 31.
