The Primus Worldstars Tour will run Dec. 7-23, with 10 games in seven different countries. Stops will include Riga, Latvia; Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia; Bratislava, Slovakia; Bern, Switzerland; Karlstad, Jonkoping and Linkoping, Sweden; Oslo, Norway and Katowice, Poland. Mats Sundin of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Sergei Fedorov of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Joe Thornton of the Boston Bruins and Rick Nash of the Columbus Blue Jackets are also expected to be among the 25-player roster announced at Thursday's news conference at Wayne Gretzky's restaurant. sheeps
I want to edit it in, but am confused about one thing. This website says Scott Gomez is also on the roster. Is there any proof of this? IMG's website has not yet posted a press release.

sheeps
Thanks brodeurfanatic. You may appreciate this bit: Brodeur and Fedorov first came up with the idea months ago. Brodeur, who doesn't have an agent, approached IMG about it and that's when agents J.P. Barry and Pat Brisson got to work. "But they didn't put my name on the tour, uh? What's up with that?," Brodeur laughed. "But a couple of guys had this idea because of what Wayne did in '94. "I talked to IMG and said hey, 'this would be fun." DevilMinder
Even in Junior hockey Gomez is an assist king. Sobering that he only has two goals though, is his goal scoring that bad?
MissionHockey
I noticed that also. I hoped that if he got some confidense scoring in the ECHL he would translate it to the NHL but that doesn't seem likely.
