Quinn01
The NHL is apparently offended and is going to take action. He was fined $2500. I think its pretty funny.

Pepperkorn
my word! Highly offensive! Fine the guy - I approve but the outrage? You have to love Doc and Chico -- they're so RATIONAL and things are always in perspective. They can chuckle in shock and then provide appropriate chiding comments - but never about how personally offended they are. Chico at worst woudl say Kids watching don't need to see that kind of thing. -- but pretty much because they really do care about fans and ARE in touch they'd limit the focus put on the gesture. MadDog2020
I love these holier-than-thou commentators- "enraged". Roflmfao. Get over yourself Healy. Good for Ference, the Habs fans deserve it.
Quinn01
What reference are they making to 2003. I cant find anything about that. FYI: Type in Boston Bruins into google search and this pops up: Boston Bruins - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Boston Bruins are a professional homosexual ice hockey team based in Boston, Massachusetts. They are members of the Northeast Division of the Eastern ...
RunninWithTheDevil
fvck the habs, fvck their fans, they deserve it. I kinda want to send Ferrence a personal check for $2500 now.

soulartist23
And he actually said he didn't mean to do it? He stuck out his fist, flipped the bird and raised his fist higher so the Hab fans to see it. I have absolutely no issue with something like that, think it's funny... but at least own up to it when asked. Don't claim you didn't mean to do it when you clearly did. (LMAO on the history will be made video)

vadvlfan
I think Colin Campbell again blew it. Why did Wizneiwski get two games for giving Avery the finger, but Ferrence gets a whopping $2500 broadcast all over the place,(laughable) fine, and thats it?? He shouldn't get a game or two because it's the playoffs? Who gives a sh<t if he's remorseful? that was phoney too
Shtikl
2003 is an erronious reference to the 2003-2004 Cup finals between Calgary and the Tampons, I think. Andy's HockeyDB card says he scored 3 goals and 12 assists this year, and this was his first pro PLAYOFF goal since 2001 when he played for the AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. I remember Andy from his days as a Flame, I thought I might stop hating the Ruins when they brought him aboard. He's the kind of guy you want in your locker room (unlike Langenbrunner). He's the kind of guy you want guarding your back. GREAT guy off-ice, buy him a beer and he's another nice Canadian boy. Shows just how much hate there is between the Ruins and the Hab-nots, that he responded with the "fist pump malfunction" -- add that to your lexicon, folks, as the NHL says, MEMORIES WILL BE MADE and this has to be one of them! Boyo, Andy, love ya for caring but that was a totally stupid thing to do. And not fessing up, whose idea was that? YOURS, Handy Andy, or the RUINS' FRONT OFFICE? PS -- I don't think this guy is really going to give Handy Andy any of the proceeds, but have a look at the wild tee shirt! Memories HAVE been made! PPS -- it was a gold tee with a hockey glove in the "fist pump malfunction" configuration, showing NHL logos and Habs logos and saying "Habs SV__" but the img is now deleted, I hated the site that hosts it and I'm not going to encourage you to go there. I guess that's the difference.
