DevsMan84
What a chokejob and down to .500 after a 3-0 season start. Well not quite it is 3-2-1 which doesn't look too bad. The Devils need to right the ship though and fast
Sneax
Honestly Cory has been solid, but we traded for a top goalie, Nabokov plays like this and costs less. He is stopping the ones most goalies should, but we got him to here to do more. Edited October 22, 2014 by Sneax
Devilsfan118
Really frustrating that we can't hold these leads. It feels like it happens way too much with this team. It's not even the same roster anymore so it makes no sense. One key aspect hasn't changed though - the coaching.
coldply123
Zidlicky, Salvador, Greene all had bad nights tonight. Got pushed around, bad positioning, mistakes galore.
JSR
Well not quite it is 3-2-1 which doesn't look too bad. The Devils need to right the ship though and fast Oh yeah. Well, whatever, still can't hold a damn lead to save their lives.
coldply123
One key aspect hasn't changed though - the coaching. It's terrible and the Deboer favoritism is showing its head again. Stephen Gionta has no place playing here anymore.

Still can't get over the fact he gives Gio an offensive zone start with Elias and Cam with a minute to go. It's laughable

Derlique
For fvcks sake, why play your two slowest forwards at the same time in OT? I like DeBoer, but his personnel choices are baffling
TheRedStorm
Oh yeah. Well, whatever, still can't hold a damn lead to save their lives. When the system that relies on puck possession stops attacking that's going to happen. They do not have enough talent or speed but to play keep away. This isn't 1997 like Lou still thinks it is. They either play strong system play and get a lead or slack and then pick up the urgency when they fall behind. This team is also painfully slow which does not help matters. Onddeck
When your system stops attacking that's going to happen. i dont agree with this, i thought we were attacking all night. it was those brutal turnovers that basically gift wrapped a goal or two

SterioDesign
People are just frustrated that the coach and GM can't see or won't see what we perceive as bad personnel decisions. this is spot on. it's actually fascinating

We have an old veteran corps because we have a ton of free agents. We have a ton of free agents because lou and conte have drafted exactly 2 and possibly 3 NHL level offensive players in the last 10 years.
