Devil Fan
I think it is time to give Brodeur some rest and he should be fresh against the Sens.
puckrock
Agreed. Another game when the Rangers are idle. The full 2 points are a must tonight. Let's Go Devils!
Elias26
I think it is time to give Brodeur some rest and he should be fresh against the Sens. Brodeur rest? I think it's in his his contact that you cant say that word to him...
Devil Fan
Brodeur rest? I think it's in his his contact that you cant say that word to him... No, I think he should sit after working so hard last night. We need him in the long term and in the playoffs, not just for tonight's game. Exit56
I think Brodeur is gonna suck now since he's not playing for his contract... (kidding)
Vinnie
I wish we still had Schwab, I have no faith in Clemmennssen.
Devil Fan
I think Brodeur is gonna suck now since he's not playing for his contract...(kidding) Maybe, remember he signed a 5yr deal after 2000-01 and the Devils got an ugly start and eventually lost to the Canes in the first round. Steadevils
I dont think Mary was really worried about playing for a contract. We beat the panthers when they were hot so hopefully we can beat them again now.
mpa0610
Even if he doesn't rest tonight he will have 4 days off until the Sens next Wednesday. I think they should give him a break tonight though.
Lateralous
Maybe, remember he signed a 5yr deal after 2000-01 and the Devils got an ugly start and eventually lost to the Canes in the first round. I doubt it. I think he is way more focused on setting all of the career goaltending records than he lets on, which IMO will drive him more than any contract year ever could. thefiestygoat
Go Devils! They will win! I like Clemmy but Brodeur should play because he will have plenty of time to rest after this game. (Feb. 1 next game)
LetsGoDevils
Marty should rest. Perhaps Lou should hide his Pads and mask and tie him to the bench.
peteyvegas
They better win tonight or else Louie will work their asses off during the 4 days idle.

I think he is way more focused on setting all of the career goaltending records than he lets on, which IMO will drive him more than any contract year ever could. He definitely has his eye on overtaking Roy ... and even Roy didn't do it with just one team ... Go, Marty .....
