Neb00rs
How Toronto didn't just score on that rush is beyond me.
devils102
I can understand why people want this team to tank. I just don't have the stomach to cheer against the Devils, especially against certain teams. I'm worried about tomorrow's game. Montreal could run this team off the rink. Neb00rs
11 of a possible 12 points in our last 6. Wow. Also, Cory has allowed more than 2 goals in a game only once since the start of January. Edited February 7, 2015 by Neb00rs
coldply123
I wouldn't disagree. It's really the only explanation. They seem so eager to tear everything down. Rumor has it they're willing to retain some of Phaneufs salary to move him.

Colorado Rockies 1976
Cory is up to .924 on the season now. Damn.
coldply123
To me I have no problem winning. It puts more pressure on the front office to make the right moves and turn things around but that's their worry and the bell they'll have to answer for. So what if we pick 8th or 9th or 10th. Neb00rs
Cory is up to .924 on the season now. Damn. And tomorrow he goes up against Price at .932. Should be quite a battle.
Devilsfan118
So what if we pick 8th or 9th or 10th. If you can't see how a top-5 pick is better than picking 10th there's nothing else worth discussing. ------- Going to be quite the goaltending battle tomorrow. Devilsfan118
I can understand why people want this team to tank. I just don't have the stomach to cheer against the Devils, especially against certain teams. Meh, it's less "rooting against" and more "accepting losing". Might be the same thing to some people but I think there's a distinction worth noting. But clearly I'm the vocal minority here, which is fine and dandy. Schneider might be sneaking his way in the Vezina discussionWe might just get a preview of two of the top candidates tomorrow.
MadDog2020
Cammalerri sounds like he's gonna be a coach one day. He talks like a coach when assessing the team's performance.
Neb00rs
Schneider might be sneaking his way in the Vezina discussion Eh, not much to talk about here. This might be the best the Devils are going to play all year. Holtby, Price, and Rinne (the 3 favorites as of now) all currently have better save pcts. and GAAs and all three are on teams that will be winning games for the rest of the season. It's very likely they will be able to sustain their numbers or even improve them. Cory has been great but he is in a tough position. You're not as much in the minority as you think....it's been infuriating to see this worthless run move them into Pro Sports Purgatory, and the Leafs nosedive into the deep end of the draft lottery this team's forward core SUCKS, and it needs to get younger and faster...that only happens with the draft (which is no lock I admit, but it's the best option) Given this run has been helped that they are beating on the buttholes of the league mostly...hopefully things adjust when Zid and Jagr (hopefully) are traded
Mike Brown
8-2-2 in our last 12. 9-5-2 since Deboer got fired.

Mike Brown
It's probably gonna take 96 points to get in. Basically means we have to go...... 22-7-1 21-6-3 20-5-5 19-4-7 18-3-9 17-2-11 16-1-13 15-0-15 Most likely scenarios are 22-7-1 or 21-6-3. Jerzey
3, 4, 26, 27, and 30 in the rafters. No 13 allowed. I think Lou is going to have to raise his highest jersey number allowed soon.

NJDevs4978
It's hilarious how badly the Devils are trolling everyone now. If they go 25-5 playing like this everyone's going to tear out their hair. You're not as much in the minority as you think....it's been infuriating to see this worthless run move them into Pro Sports Purgatory, and the Leafs nosedive into the deep end of the draft lottery this team's forward core SUCKS, and it needs to get younger and faster...that only happens with the draft (which is no lock I admit, but it's the best option) Given this run has been helped that they are beating on the buttholes of the league mostly...hopefully things adjust when Zid and Jagr (hopefully) are traded If you think this run is bad how do you think Pete feels? If the Devils somehow go on a Lemaire-ish run, he's not going to get a job nearly as fast as he would have if they'd kept struggling. I can understand why people want this team to tank. I just don't have the stomach to cheer against the Devils, especially against certain teams. I'm worried about tomorrow's game. Montreal could run this team off the rink. I can't cheer against them as long as there's a ghost of a chance to make the playoffs. A few more wins and this might go from near impossible to actually something worth getting delusional over.
