Derlique
Finally a local kid that fans have been yearning for. While he isnt going to be mistaken for a savior, he's definitely a piece that should help now and in the future. Has a ton of speed and is apparently good at zone entries, which is something we really need. Dont know much about him, but it's the type of move we need

NJDfan1711
Heh, I was going to say the exact same thing, but since it's been said three times already, I don't know what to say I think I would like to see him on the second line with JJ and Elias, and Henrique, Zajac and Cammalleri on the top line. Devils731
I'm guessing by season's end we're surprised we got him for so little.

Guadana
When rolston give us 20 goals everybody talks how bad he is (as i remember he didnt play in 1st and 2nd lines) Will see. Palmieri plaid with better on paper players in line, but it doesnt talk anithing bad about him.
Colorado Rockies 1976
When rolston give us 20 goals everybody talks how bad he is (as i remember he didnt play in 1st and 2nd lines) Will see. Palmieri plaid with better on paper players in line, but it doesnt talk anithing bad about him. Rolston had scored 30+ goals in four out of his prior six seasons. He also didn't seem to be killing himself out there...don't know if you've ever seen Major League (classic movie that came out in 1989), but he started being compared to Roger Dorn with good reason. Some wanted to make excuses for him, but he clearly wasn't the player the Devils were hoping to get. I'm with others, hoping for good things (within reason), don't know that much about him. Guadana
I saw that movie but dont remember anything about. Too much movies But i remember about wild and bruins years of rolston. I think he had speed, offensive possession and no time in top 6. And he had Injury in the beginig of his 2nd devils Coming Anyway with him we looked strong in regular and did some playoffs runs. More with that without him. And i agree root of the problematique isnt there. with clarkson, zubi with 17 goals and poni - guys who can score about 20 times with 3rd line time on ice - devils made SCF now palmieri with 20 goals in expectation is good look for first and second line. So will see. I think that palmieri may be the first liner or may be the third liner. I dont know. I talk about i dont wait of something big at this time. 2ELIAS6
Don't know much about him either..seems like no one does apparently..but from what I'm hearing he will bring we all know we could use that here. Will be interesting to see how he fits into the team and whatever new system they will play this year with the new coach in place
Devilsfan118
Excited to see what he brings, now that he'll get a chance to play a more prominent role here than he did with the Ducks.

Devils Pride 26
Don't want to get too excited yet. Can't target a number of goals. Just let him develop. Hopefully kid handles expectations and pressure pretty well
RizzMB30
20 goals from Palmieri would be great. If he gets more than that he'll surprise. Wow. This kid is a sniper through and through. I think he could really light it up playing with Zajac and Camm. We're in store for some magic from Palmieri. In some of these goals, he appears to have a VERY Parise-like knack for goal-scoring. He goes to the net, he picks corners on goalies. The 2nd to last goal against the Isles reminds me of Parise very much. Guadana
Wow. Its good. Probably perspective. Looks like he made his chances by himself. I vote for adam with palmieri and boucher, zajac with camm and Matteau(or elias) in other line Edited August 11, 2015 by Guadana
Marshall
He was 7th in ES TOI/G in Anaheim and 5th in PP TOI (2nd unit). Let's see what happens when he gets 16-17 minutes per game with the top players rather than 13-14 with the mid tier players.
nessus
The question is: are top players here any better than mid tier players in Anaheim? (but I see your point)
