Who the hell is in charge of design, that person needs to be fired asap.....those are the worst looking jerseys ever, even worse then the islanders black jerseys (imo by far the worst in the nhl)

They let Adidas design them. The only worse decision the NHL could've made would've been letting Under Armor do it. Seeing every team parade out there in the same template jersey with the stripes on all of them makes it feel like such a gimmicky joke. One of the reasons I couldn't sustain giving a sh!t about MLS.

I kinda like it, dont know why, but not like a hockey jersey but as like a collectable.

I actually kind of like them.  Seems I'm definitely in the minority though.  I want to see what they actually look like during a game.

Team USA is just another "grit" and garbage team, you would've thought they learned their lesson.

Torts and Lombardi? Yea right

Buf is a joke. They'll regret it when cross checks Getzlaf to the back of the head in the first game and sits out the rest of the tournament.

Yandle and Faulk should be in there. I know the obvious reply people are saying, "But they're going to announce more in June", but it's besides the point. Their judge of character by naming some of these guys in the first phase shows their eye for players has not improved since last Olympics, and probably gotten worse.

Jesus christ team canada looks impressive and there's still a bunch of good guy left, Pietrangelo, Burns, Giordano, Seabrook, Nash, Marchand, Perry, Giroux, Sharp, Stone, Letang, Johansen, Ladd, Hall etc etc Glad Subban is not there, shows they won't fall for his flashy sh!t like fans are.

McDonaugh and Stepan on Team USA because Tortorella thinks it's 2013. They're not even the top Americans on their own team, much less throughout the league.

All kidding aside, but are you nuts? McDonagh is one of the better shutdown defensemen in the game. He basically has carried Girardi the past two seasons. That takes a toll. What's more? He's had injuries. And is still having a good season.

Stepan is a good two-way forward that can excel in a tournament like this. He is a superb penalty killer and has a knack for scoring big goals. I don't see how you can be serious with this.

Both are easy choices. Faulk with a potent shot especially on the power play and Yandle for his great passing. Don't forget Shattenkirk too. USA is hurt by the Under 23 NA roster which includes hot shots Gaudreau and Eichel. Saad too. Gibson will soon be giving Schneider competition for the Olympics.

The jerseys suck and the young guns/Team NA thing is the stupidest idea the league has had in a long time, which is saying something for a league that cranks out stupid ideas like it's their job. I couldn't possibly care less about this farce.

Saw some other pics and don't like the jerseys as much now...the red stripes on the sides on the black ones seem out of place:

I actually like it a lot it gives a chance to more good players to play on the national level. So i guess that means it's not a "stupid idea" it's simply an idea that you don't like.

I think it's stupid because you have players who have probably dreamed of growing up to play for their home country now possible playing against their own country. I had read that they aren't even going to be playing national anthems.

Really hard to argue against this tournament being nothing but a farce.

I would like to see the under 23 players refuse to go to this dumb North American team.
