Honestly, he's just spent so much time playing with unskilled players. Even during the years he was here I felt like we were missing a big power forward type player. Clarkson, though mid-sized, fulfilled that role a little bit for a couple of years. True, but Zubes was a beast on the boards and winning puck battles, which Maroon also excels at. I guess he’s kind of a Zubes/Clarkson hybrid lol.
