Derlique
More than 2 years to a bottom 6 player is generally bad news but Coleman will ne 27-29 and the aav is low. Happy to have him back
Devils Pride 26
Could we merge Nosesen re-signing into here as well? Like the Coleman signing, looks like they may value him more than Nose. Unless Nose lights the world on fire, looks like this opens a bottom six role for one of the young guys 2 years from now. I like it. Nice to have bottom 6 producers and not just bodies down there.
Vic Rattlehead18
Glad we got him and Noesen re-signed. Too bad we didn't keep Gibbons. They were like the new better CBGB.

NJDfan1711
Glad to lock him up for a few years at a good price. Hopefully he continues to deliver what he brought last season, and then some.

titans04
Good cap deal for the team, he was a pleasant surprise.
EdgeControl
the guy was arguably our 3rd best player in the playoffs this year, maybe our 2nd

After Hall and Nico, I’d say Butcher, Vats, and Coleman were the Devils best players. I only exclude Bratt because of the 2nd half slump. aclc79
Both deals make sense; Coleman stepped his game up somewhat, especially in the postseason. Nose may need to show more, but the 3rd line seems to work well together. They seem to know what they are about.
Devilsfan118
Like both deals a lot - it's minor money to secure some quality depth guys in my mind. Seems like a "show me" contract for Noesen to me.

For me, he’s already “shown me” he’s an effective 3rd liner.

True, and in looking at the other thread where people were talking about this maybe the 1-year term is more related to injury concerns that his performance.
