Jerrydevil
School of Rock is a fun movie. No mention yet of a cult classic ... "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
njskaguy33
While not a "rock" movie persay, The Commitments is a very good music movie. Working class Irish kids playing soul standards in Dublin equals win. Other good ones not mentioned include: It Might Get Loud Woodstock - 3 Days of Peace and Music

Unholygoalie
"The Kids Are Alright" (the old one.) They actually let the songs run from begining to end. "Tommy" "Flight 666" "Quadrophenia" also, the Roling Stones "Rock and Roll Circus" Edited August 24, 2010 by Unholygoalie
Atterr
No mention of The Last Waltz? Arguably the greatest assembly of musicians ever performing on the same stage for one night only. Some other favorites of mine (already mentioned): Almost Famous, High Fidelity (great pick!) and This Is Spinal Tap.
point
Add "The Last Waltz" to the list and its complete. Edited August 24, 2010 by point
