These last three games are peak Devils…two of their better performances of the season surrounding another sh!t sandwich against a bad team in the middle. Even when we win a game like this it’s annoying cause the only constant is it doesn’t last

Yeah, it's been said before, but if the season ends with us on the outside looking in like it looks like it might, there will be plenty of games to point to on the schedule as missed opportunities. With that said, if we can somehow win tomorrow, we have a few days off where things could get really interesting. Flyers could lose to the Rags, Caps could lose to the Wings (in regulation), then on Thursday Isles could lose to the Panthers, Wings to the Canes, and caps to the Leafs. Is it asking a lot? Yes. But is any of that unreasonable or improbable? Not really, no. Would make Friday's game against Buffalo almost certainly do or die for both teams.

The Athletic has them even lower at 3%. As nice as that Isles game was, they really fvcked themselves by laying an egg vs Ottawa on Saturday. Ugh.

Yeah, at least Reinhart was a former #2OA pick. So the pedigree was always there. He was just stuck on some terrible Buffalo teams. Hyman was a 5th round pick though.

Teams sometimes have surprising lil' slumps, seemingly out of nowhere. The Jets were 14-5-0 before this slump...before that 14-5-0 run, they had gone 0-4-1. I'd be surprised if they didn't recover.

Knowing that we’ll miss the playoffs by just a few points is frustrating. I’m still cheering for them to sneak in but Fitz is gonna have to do a lot to make up for his indecisiveness this year.

The sad thing is that I dated a few girls who fit the initial description to an absolute T. But once I got a lot better at seeing the signs, I learned to GTFO very quickly. Man it’s much harder to do that with my damned hockey team heh heh. Guessing they wanted to keep him fully fresh for the Leafs on Tues.

Add Dawn Staley to the list of people who apparently look for things to be offended about: Dawn Staley calls out CBS Sports after 'offensive' comments about Kamilla Cardoso (on3.com) So during a CBS Sports Minute, a commentator known as "JR" spoke about how he's excited about the Women's NCAA Basketball Tournament. Here's the quote that was just sooooooo offensive: “I’m ready for Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark and the giant Brazilian woman from South Carolina that knocks people over,” he said of Kamilla Cardoso during the segment. I'm sorry, what is SO terrible about the above? The player in question is in fact Brazilian, giant (6' 7") and she did shove an opponent hard enough to draw an ejection in a previous game. JR didn't say anything remotely derogatory about her gender, heritage, anything. Put it this way: if he had been talking about the NCAA Men's draw and had said "the giant Brazilian dude from South Carolina that knocks people over", is Staley uttering so much as a peep about any of this? Highly fvcking doubtful. I don't think he had anything to apologize for, and it's a joke that people feel the need to kowtow and capitulate just because some people who clearly are offended way too easily think that somehow they represent the gold standard for what should be "allowed". Fortunately for him, JR is black, because I have little doubt that if he were white, someone (possibly Staley herself) would be trying to turn in this into a "cancel the racist" kind of thing. Total bullsh!t. Lighten up Dawn.

I want to see Master of Air, but I don’t have Apple TV. I love Band of Brothers and The Pacific.

If anyone is looking for an alternative to Devils hockey (you know - something that doesn’t completely suck) Shogun on FX is fvcking fantastic. 3 episodes so far and I can’t recommend it enough.
