Officially over. I've hated this season more than almost every other bad season. We had the outdoor game, that's it.

if you do the Rangers suck whistle at a game like this, as we're being embarrassed to close out an atrocious season, you deserve papercuts on sensitive areas that will never heal.

Three more games. Just three more games, and Smith won’t be here anymore. If there’s any justice in the universe, he’ll sign with the Flyers and get screamed at by Torts all next season.

every month had a new disappointment, hell every three weeks felt like something. at least when they sucked, you knew they would suck and MAYBE they'd get a win occasionally.

There's plenty of breweries and distilleries too. Some of their rules are more of a pain in the ass more than anything but there is still plenty to do for rich young athletes. I'm no fan of mormons but Utah is an absolutely beautiful state and there are way worse places to live and play in the NHL

Not just old school mentality but old boys club too. It persists so long because the mentality amongst them is, "this could have happened to any of us" and they want to make sure the club has their back too if it's their ass on the hot seat next time. fvck that. Take some responsibility. It's up to their peers to hold them to some standard and accountability, but right now there isn't much of one and the league only cares about money so it's not coming from there either.

Luke has taken some HUGE hits this season and hasn’t missed any time. So that’s encouraging. Especially considering the amount of minutes he plays.

Mercer has had such a weird 20 goals on the season. I feel like he’s been more invisible than scoring once every 4 games, but here we are and he did it somehow. Smith needs to go but after this past season, my faith in Fitz is really at an all time low, so I could see the clown coming back for his supposed intangibles. Agreed on bAHL. Dude is so pathetically soft for his size. It’s what Buffalo fans hated about Tyler Myers: massive in height player, plays like he’s the size of Gionta.

Same. Also hope that he doesn’t turn out to be one of those guys who misses 20 games or so every year. The guy is SO damned talented.

Well the Zamboni ride was kinda cool. Nice to see Nico almost stubbornly still getting his points. And to see Dawson finally get a couple as well. And that‘s about all I got for positives. Only three more games of Green and Smith. If Fitz decides to move on from Bahl, I won’t fight him on it. Like others have noted, you’re either physical or you’re not, and Bahl just seems way too hesitant to ever consistently use his considerable size. Maybe a legit defensive coach (either head or assistant) can pry that out of him, but this was a largely disappointing season for him.

bAHL was plenty bad himself tonight. It wasn’t really a case of one guy dragging the other down like we’ve seen so often with Smith and Luke/Nemec. They both just suck. It’s a pipe dream to think bAHL is just going to suddenly turn into a physical defenseman at some point. You either have it or you don’t.

I hope Fitz won't fvck it up, but my faith in him is not as strong after this season

And now the season is officially over. Shut anyone down with bumps and bruises, bring up as many guys to get looks. The failures of Ruff/Green/this entire staff are almost over.

Torts went a little overboard at times this season. Even for him.

6-0 against crappy Montreal with the playoffs slipping away is ‘the coach may have lost the room’ stuff.

Timo was one of the best players in the league for the entire month of March.

Excellent goal by Mercer. I like how, without Jack, this team is a little more creative, throwing pucks on net and to the middle. They don't purely rely on Jack to be the puck carrier and set up guy up top.

Seriously...but even the Devils can't get away with total radio silence when it comes to their star attraction. Shoulda just shelved him at the deadline after you cashed out by trading Toffoli and Miller.

Great news for the Coyotes players. You go from a 4,000 seat college arena to a city with no night life of any kind, not to mention not a drop of alcohol within the city limits. Sounds like a ton of fun if you’re a rich 20-something 🤣

I know everyone's different but Quinn has barely missed any games so hopefully this is just a flume thing that he'll get past as he gets bigger and stronger as he ages.

Since Torts scratched Couturier, the Flyers have gone 2-8-3 and have been outscored 62-34. Maybe it’s a simply a case of a bad team finally crashing hard back to Earth, but why a relatively smart hockey guy like Torts is allergic to ever evolving…he just can’t seem to help himself.

I think it was Travis Konecny, in the Stadium Series game on one of those behind the scenes mic’d up clips, that told Smith in so many words that he sucks and pretty much everyone knows it. I hope Fitz knows it and lets him go on his merry way.

While his play has been impressive for someone with a bum shoulder, I'm also glad we have confirmation on why his play has dipped significantly from what it was to start the season. Hopefully he gets all fixed up and is ready for the full reset in September.

That’s one of the reasons why I like Jack and Nico playing on different lines, apart from the fact that they play the same position. Nico’s generally more aggressive and creative when he’s the primary puck handler than when he plays off of Jack.

Really goes to show you how special of a player Jack is. He was winning games for the team early in the season, and especially last season. He likely singlehandedly kept Lindy afloat for so long. But injured Jack couldn't quite do it, despite still being the team's best player. Hoping for a speedy recovery for him.
